If you need Taurine and take this, you'll notice an overall improvement of how you feel. Taking everyday, I believe can make a full dietary recovery in a week or two. Then I will go without for 3-4 weeks and then again take it for another week. At least that is what works for me. Swanson has exceptional quality control and has had for at the 40 years I've been buying from them.

Quality taurine hits you quickly, taken on an empty stomach. It imparts relaxation and is purportedly good for brain, eyes, heart, liver. I found this one to be very effective but a bit pricey.

My wife (intensive care nurse) and I both take Swanson Ajipure Taurine; she takes 1000mg at bedtime, while I take 500mg in the morning before breakfast. We swear by this brand and the Ajipure purity. Highly recommended.
