Completely changed my foot
I do heavy deadlifts and squats barefoot and I walk about 5 miles a day. My left foot was feeling the effects and the arch of my foot started hurting 2 years ago. It hurt everyday and it was so bad that I couldn't curl my toes on my left foot without having it cramp. This was not a hydration issue. I drink almost a gallon of water a day. Anyway, long story short, I decided to give these insoles a try since my feet always feel great when I wear my birks. In terms of size, I matched my birk size and it worked out. You want the front of the insoles to line up with your metatarsals. The insoles have symbols on the bottom. To properly place them in your shoes, you want the circles on the bottom of the insoles to be as close to one another as possible as you walk. Said another way, you want the circles on the bottom of the insoles to point toward the opposite foot. It might take a little getting used to, but I appreciated these as soon as I put them in my shoes. I've used them with leather boots, converse, nikes, brooks, and hiking boots. Fit was great in all of them. I've even worn them to the gym and done deadlifts and squats with them inserted in my flat sole shoes and it felt great. These insoles have completely changed my foot. My left foot hasn't hurt the entire week I've had them. It's amazing. Not to mention, they work in every single pair of shoes I own and I don't feel like my foot is cramped into any of my shoes while these are in there. It's incredible how much better my entire left leg feels after using these. I couldn't be happier. I recommend these to anyone experiencing arch pain or discomfort. I will update if my pain returns. However, that could be a result of overuse of the insole. This product is well worth $60.

These work for me.
I have zero arch and I pronate. Great combination. I have spent $400 on custom full length arch supports. I have also spent $35 on other supports here on Amazon. I decided to give these Birkenstock supports a try. These half length supports are as good as any and feel perfectly comfortable. More importantly, they do for me what I need. If you pronate, buy good quality shoes the provide good native support. No aftermarket supports can overcome shoes that lack this basic requirement if you need the support. This is THE most important factor. I am very happy with this purchase. Ordering is key and is difficult. Be careful. Most of us have “normal” width feet. The width of the supports is not readily stated and I inadvertently ordered incorrectly and had to return. These are my second pair. I am pleased with their durability which is why I ordered a second pair. They do not damage my shoes but they do leave a mark on the shoe’s insole. Unlike others, including my expensive custom insoles, it will not be necessary to remove most shoe insoles because these take so little space. Also be careful to know if returns are free. In conclusion, order accurately and give these a try.

BEST thing I have found for my feet
When my PT recommended these for Planter Fasciitis, I need to admit I was skeptical. They are not soft. There is no cushion. I have tried just about every insole on the market, most several times, including special made ones, and nothing seemed to work. These are the best. They are durable (several years training for marathon runs, and I am 200+#). They put my feet in the perfect position, and I no longer have PF pain. For anyone who has lived with it, you can understand how big of a deal this is. I have purchased so many sets over the years simply because I didn't want to keep moving them from shoe to shoe as I decided what to wear. I have given them as gifts to people who have fallen in love with them. The only thing I have found that they didn't stand up to was I had a pair out to swap into new shoes, and my dog chewed it. Place them under the insole of the shoe, closer to the sole, and you have the shoe's cushion. That was plenty as it was about positioning. If you are on the fence, do your feet a favor and get these.

AMAZING! Plantars facitiis finally at bay.
I tried at least 6 pairs of insoles made specifically for plantars facitiis to no avail. All were overly cushiony and hurt my heels so bad. Birkenstock insoles are the only insoles besides my $500 custom made orthotics that I can wear all day without experiencing stabbing PF pain in my arches and heels. Pain went from a 8/10 to a 2/10. I prefer these 3/4 insoles over the full length sport as they fit better in most shoes. Worth the money, so excited to have found a product that works for me. I wish I would have found this product sooner- I was suffering for months before I found these!

great half insert they are unisex
Listing says they are womens, but I've bought the same ones elsewhere. They are unisex. Works well for me (male) This is my second set. I bought the first one at an orthopedic shoe store. One of the best inserts I've found for the price. Scholls charges the same amount for what they call premium inserts that softens in 2 weeks. But the hardcore shoe insert fanatics will say Scholls are crap and don't address the real issue of arch support. I've tried metal plate reinforced inserts, solid plastic, but this one provides good support for my flattening arch and stays in place pretty well in the shoe. Good arch support. Feels a little narrow for my feet. Maybe they are for women!! but it softens up a bit as you wear it but the arch support remains. If you try this insert and are not used to the stiffness do not give up on these. Give it a week or so for them to soften up/your feet to adjust. I weigh about 220lbs. If you are lighter than me the inserts might not soften up as fast.

They fit shoe they don’t make you feel overcrowded it’s they’re great
I’ve been wearing orthotics made by the podiatrist. There’s no comparison these orthotics by Birkenstock are the best I’ve ever had.

definitely works
I have been using these for a couple of decades and tried not using them and my knees started hurting again. Before using them I tried a$400 pair from podiatrist but found these worked just as well

total back pains before these -
I have flat feet, so much so that the army refused me. at 40 years old I developed back pains, took all kinds of remedies just to discover my archless feet were the cause, i always wear birkenstock shoes now but sometimes I feel like wearing other brands, so I purchased these a few years ago and it was great. No more back pains. A few months ago I changed shoes, I started to have back issues, I couldn't figure out what was happening, now what!! after a week of walking hunch down in pain , i see my old pair of shoes and i see my supports, I couldn't use them again as the now had a fold in them from being tossed in corner, So I bought a new pair and I wondered, man could it be that simple? And it was, one day after wearing them no more back pains.
