Previous owner of 2 Droix G10 remotes and for the most part they are solid remotes.Took a chance with this G30 as wanted to replace the android box and Tv remote via the IR program feature, and i will come to that shortly.Firstly as a android remote this is spot on, all keys work very fast and responsive. The Air mouse on this works much better than the G10 which can be irratic on them to say the least.The ability to adjust the speed of the cursor is also welcomed.Now for the IR LearningDo not even read the instructions, they make little any sense even reading many different ways as well as the manual refers to the G10 in one section???To properly set up Ir Learning (sending = original remote you want to teach from)1) Hold the POWER button for 3 seconds on G30 for slow flashing red LED2) Aim the sending remote at the G303) Press the button you want to the g30 to learn from on the sending remote4) The G30 will flash fast showing it is receiving5) Press the button on the G30 that you want that ir signal to be mapped to (i.e. Home button on sending remote > home button on G30)6) Repeat for all the buttons you want to teach7) when finished press the G30 Power button one last time to end the learning and save the key mappings to memoryOverall once i sussed this it was easy enough.I like the G10 but this seems to be a better option for a few pounds more. The G10's are still going and have lasted over a year so i have high hopes for the G30

This is a great remote handset, its a bit fiddly to get the hang of learning news buttons. As usual the instructions aren't great but when you get the hang of it not bad at all.

Fine with android box

Got this after one of the cheap ones on Aliexpress came without all of the buttons working. This works great; all keys are automatically detected in Linux and the mouse works out of the box. If you are using Linux, both Gnome and KDE Plasma have shortcuts already allocated for some of the media buttons, so you need to disable these first.
