I grabbed this soap refill because I liked the ingredients and the scent sounded amazing. The gel itself isn’t super thick or sticky, it rinses clean, and it foams really well — which is basically all I ask for when my kids are in and out of the kitchen every five seconds with sticky hands. That said, the scent is very light — don’t expect it to perfume your whole house. BUT it worked perfectly with my soap dispenser under the sink, and now I don’t have to worry about refilling for at least a few weeks (which feels like a small miracle with the amount of handwashing we do). Mom win: less refilling, more actual living. 🙌

Great soap! It makes a creamy foam, cleans well and it doesn't over dry your skin. It doesn't said that moisturize it, but it's not harsh on the skin. The lavender perfume is maybe a notch to subtle but being a natural ingredient makes sense not to be super strong. I tried the Forrest Escape version but I didn't like it at all. I'll stay with the Lavender one.

Smells nice, doesn't foam very well or sud-up when scrubbing. It feels more like sanitizer foam than soap foam. Not quite what I want from a soap. I want my soap to suds up when I'm scrubbing not disappear.

I had been having such a hard time finding foaming hand soap in stores near me, so when I saw this option on Amazon I was a bit hesitant to try something new- I had to buy a foaming dispenser just to use it, I was worried about storage, how well it would foam, etc. So here's my experience after looking at way too many foaming soap refills and dispensers. I bought a glass dispenser that rated well here on Amazon. It is sturdy and because I spent a little more for a glass dispenser with a quality screw top and wide foam head I know it'll last through many refills with this gallon. My foaming soap bottle was delayed in transit, but arrived in great shape with no leaks or signs of damage. The soap itself is thin because it must be put in a foaming dispenser. Do not try to use it as soap, dilute it, or use it as sanitizer. It's foaming soap and as such needs a foaming dispenser to properly dispense it. When you use it in a foaming dispenser you will aldo notice this giant refill bottle will last a long time. The foam created will likely depend on the quality of foaking didpenser used. For me the foam is very fluffy yet dense. One pump makes a generous mound that fully lathers my hands. The foaming action is crucial in helping to break down contaminates and dirt on your hands. In my opinion it's also more pleasant a washing experience than traditional liquid soap, as well as much less wasteful. The lavender scent is very strong, and slightly artificial. I have no complaints about this, but even after a good rinse you will still get a lingering whiff on your skin. So, if lavender bothers you, this is not the soap for you as it is definitely not subtle. That being said, despite being able to smell the lavender, my hands don't have any residue and are more on the squeaky side of clean. I was worried this might dry my hands out, but so far so good. 20+ washes a day right now and no irritation. In all, I'm very happy in my investment of this gallon sosp refill and a glass foaming soap dispenser- such a great savings and much more eco-friendly than buying 20+ commercial single use bottles which would replace it.

I bought it because of the price point. Here are my issues: 1. It came with the seal broken. I'm sure people are returning the product and it's being resold OPEN. 2. You will need 2 pumps to get the right suds to wash your hands. 3. THE SCENT IS LIGHT. SUPER LIGHT. This is not bath n body works/ DAWN smack in your face scent. The scent is borderline non-existent. So, if the scent is super important be forewarned, you hardly will get any here. 4. The soap DRIES OUT YOUR HANDS. I'm going to finish the product and try something else once it runs out.
