ORTUR Laser Rotary Roller

This engraver works great with my Ortur Master 2 S2 laser. I bought it to engrave some cups for Christmas, and it worked perfectly. I’m excited to use it on other projects in the future. Assembly took a little time, but it wasn’t difficult, and the instructions were clear enough to get it set up without any issues. Once assembled, it’s easy to use and produces precise results…. Once you figure it all out! I did have issues with it skipping a little, but that was more user error and learning the machine rather than it malfunctioning. Pros: • Works well with Ortur Master 2 S2 laser • Precise engraving results • Clear instructions for assembly • Perfect for cups, gifts, and small projects • Fun and satisfying to use Cons: • Takes a bit of time to assemble (not hard, just patience required) Overall, this is a great addition to my laser setup. It’s functional, reliable, and makes engraving projects much easier and more enjoyable.

UPDATE: customer service reached out and offered a full refund for the issue. Great experience!! I bought this product over the summer and didn't set it up for use until the middle of November. When I set it up, the motor which turns the belt does not turn it. The motor vibrates and heats up, trying to work, but doesn't. I have emailed the company and hope to hear back from them soon.

I bought this to use with a Befon table top laser engraver. After assembling the Rotary Roller, which took 20-30min and wasn't difficult, I set it up on the laser work space, loaded a file, enabled the roller in the LightBurn software and started the engraving... the image was a bunch of squiggly lines. After trying a few different settings I opened a help ticket with Ortur Tech support (about 8pm). In less than an hour I had a reply and easy fix: The red & Black wires had to be swapped on the connector to work with my laser. I have been playing with it since and it works very well. Smooth, accurate images are produced on round objects. Good product at a very reasonable price, with great tech support.

The way Amazon ships things, the box was completely trashed. Holes, not tape, ect. With that said inside the giant Amazon box was a nicely boxed rotary machine. I’m glad ortur packaged it so well. Not a scratch on the product even though Amazon made it look like it went through a war zone. Set up was pretty simple. The instructions were hard to read with the black text on a dark blue background, but there is a good video on YouTube from ortur on how to assemble. Solid well built metal frame, the rollers seem to have plenty of gripsion to grab an roll light or heavy objects! I’d buy it again and recommend it

The motor on the machine is not giving enough power for the roller to spin.. I wanted this roller so I could do engraving on tumblers and as you can see in the videos it’s not rotating, I try everything possible and nothing works. But if I spin it with my bare hands it will rotate, so it’s obvious that the motor is the problem… please refund me back my money I don’t need this crop .

The amount of time's I'll use this is probably pretty low. The thing you're working with basically has to be a perfect cylinder. I got the YRC1.0 and it's just better in every way. That being said, I'm sure there will be a time I need this one specifically to do a long cylinder object, so I kept it.

Took a little while to assemble. I did need help of an instructional video. I did a search for "Ortur roller YRR assembly guide" to find a good video (there are many). But once I saw the video - it was pretty easy to put together. The unit works great and has a few little programming tweaks needed to get it perfect. But the information is all out there. Works on glasses, tumblers, etc without handles. There are plenty of guides that you can 3d print yourself if you look for them to handle odd shaped cylindrical objects.
