I am a complete beginner in the art of cake making but in a mad moment said I would make my niece,s 16th Birthday Cake. My daughter was delighted and then sent me picture examples. I went into shear panic, this was not a jam filled sponge but a tower of cake, icing, flowers, colours !!!!! With the help of these tools I actually managed to achieve what I think the perfect cake. My niece could not believe it was not made professionally, and was even more shocked when she it new it was her Nannie that had made it for her. X

Bought for my Partner who knows his cakes easy to use mostly aside from the cake cutter being quite fiddly especially if it's your first time but massive kit not much u can't do given practise

So my son wanted to start baking cakes, and wanted a starter et to get him going. This set seemed to fit the bill. However... it has a good deal of bits and bobs in the kit. The best being the turntable. The worst being the cake trimmer wire. It's almost unfit for purpose. it's made of very weak metal and the wire isn't serrated so cannot cut through anything... we've tried! It's rubbish. The kit does come with a handy selection of piping nozzles but they are very small, so don' be expecting to pipe huge cakes with these! The silicone piping bags however are good quality and reusable which is very handy. The pallet knives included are also fairly low quality and probably bought from a pound shop. So marks out of 10 for overall value for money... 4/10. We've put this set down to experience, and have started to buy better quality singular items needed for baking.

I live this. What a fab little set. This is perfect for me… I’m just starting to bake and don’t have a lot of room to store things. This is perfect for a beginner.
