I have 3 cats (don't judge) and they SHED like crazy in the summer time. They are also snuggle sluts. Which is lovely except when I get a face full of fur. The good news is that they don't mind being brushed, for about 3 minutes at a time. I have tried sooo many different brushes and tools, most of them have worked, to a certain degree, but this one, this one takes the cake (and the gold star). I can get so much hair out of my cats in 2 or 3 strokes with this comb (they are all short haired). They do not mind being groomed with it, as long as they get to sniff first, and the amount of hair is amazing. I really like the shape of the handle, it fits well into my hand and I don't have to have a strong grip to use it. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

Easy to use. Great for the price and I’m very impressed with the amount of hair I brushed out of my Great Dane. If you have a short haired dog that sheds a lot this is the perfect brush to get the job done!

We have two kitties, both ten months old. Both short hair. They shed like no body's business. It's kind of shocking.One of them is... For lack of a better term... A total scaredy cat. She's afraid of yo-yos, crocheted blankets and... Hair brushes. We have no idea why. She was in my lap once, when my son came over to get his hair brushed and she legit leaped five feet in the air and six feet away when he handed me the brush.So this deshedder is fantastic. It's small, but I have cats, not a Saint Bernard. It gets that loose hair before it's all over the bed. The scaredy cat, while curious, did not panic.Everybody is happy!

I have a husky who doesn't like to be brushed and sheds an entire dog daily. Not only did he enjoy me brushing him, the amount of fur that came out with just very gently grooming was unreal! Highly recommend for the sturdy build and the quality of how well this brush works!

LOVED this the first time.. the second time this happened.. didn't even use it but for one dog for just a few minutes.. hopefully the new one on the way is better.. But I will say that first go around on the first dog. Just playing with it did amazing and she has short hair. I was very surprised that that much hair came off of her.
