I’m an ICU RN and my Boxer woke me up in the middle of the night panting heavily. That set off an alarm for me, so I grabbed my stethoscope and caught him having short runs of v-tach, so I loaded him up and took him to the ER vet at 2 am. He was subsequently diagnosed with ARVC at 11.5 years.We made a dietary switch to an expensive brand formulated specifically for Boxers, he was put on Sotolol and Mexiletine, along with this product. We give it twice a day (he’s 65-70 lbs) and we encase it in cheese. I rated flavor as a 3 because it’s a capsule and it does have a strong scent; sometimes he catches the scent and will crunch it out of the cheese about once every three-ish weeks. Since it’s a supplement, I just give him a new one. The value for money is great though.I really do think this product has made a big difference; the typical life span after late diagnosis of ARVC is 6-12 months and we’re sitting at 19 months post diagnosis. His heart rate and rhythm are very well-controlled by the medications, the supplement is protecting him from further deterioration and scarring of the heart, and overall he is very healthy for a 13 year-old Boxer.

Great supplement recommended by my vet for my dogs heart issue. Worth purchasing.

EFFECTIVE! My dog had a heart murmur, after a year of using VS cardio supplement, it has been eliminated. He is 9 years old and thriving.
