I needed an environmentally stable document bag for a columbarium.It's difficult to find document pouches that are environmentally stable - most are pleather or equivalent.This silicone based pouch will not rot.CON: The zipper / closure is not particularly waterproof - so you may need to shield it. The bag and the pouch are well made and are of strong materials. I am pleased that they are not heavy. I don't believe, however, that the bag would stand up to total immersion, since water could get in at the top, on either side. It will offer substantial protection, though, say, in the rain. But the small pouch does look like it might stand up to a dunking.I bought these as an extra layer of protection for my documents inside an already existing built-in fire box. They fit fine and will suit my purposes well.

I like everything about the item. The price, the look, the feel, the size. I can't think of anything bad to say. It came fast after I ordered it. We were out of town so I gave the address where we were staying and a couple of days later there it was. I hope I never have to test the fire durability of it and contents. I bought one for my wife to put her valuables in also.

I like these a lot! I got them to go with my safe for extra security of my items. They are very durable and feel like they are waterproof, although I haven’t purposely put them in water.

Today I just got my fireproof bag. Worth to buy one for the important document.. Appears very durable. It holds a lot of items and fills my need for having my important documents in one place safe from fire and water but also easily transportable if an unexpected emergency should occur. I highly recommend it!
