The media could not be loaded. Easy fix! Had the diaphragm harden up on the old carburetor and it would not pump fuel up. Had this tiller for some time and the inexpensive fix saved me spending $300+ on a new one. It was a little tricky to get the fuel hose into the tank but it all fit and worked perfectly once installed. There were no leaks at all from the carburetor or the hoses. Followed the manufacturer instructions for starting and the engine fired up right away. Easy to recommend this product.

Bolted right up and and ran fine. Spark plug didn't fit but didn't need it.

The carb fits my Troy Built TB 525 EC string trimmer great and is easy to install. There’s a different orientation of the fuel nipples compared to the original carb that came on the trimmer. The nipples are pointing down instead of pointing towards the handle. Actually, this keeps the 2 small fuel and return tubes less exposed. My unit still has great spark so I didn’t switch out the spark plug. I’m pleased with this part and I consider it a decent value.

I couldn't find a repair shop that would service my TroyBuilt 4 stroke trimmer. I purchased this kit and did it myself. Easy swap except for a struggle with replacing the fuel lines. Also the spark plug is not worth using due to rough idling. Cleaned and re-gaped the old one and put it back in and now it runs like new. Well worth the price.

I have a Troy-Bilt TB146 EC. The new carb was a perfect match to replace the old one. It also came with a spark plug (not sure if it fits), an extra gasket, a couple of extra fuel bulbs, fuel filter, and fuel lines. I didn't use any of that stuff but will keep it in case I ever need it. I had to adjust the idle screw a bit before it would stay running, but its running strong now. It seems like a pretty good value.

Easy to install and has all the parts needed to return the entire fuel system of an older weedeater/stick edger to like new. Replacing the entire fuel system fixes many problems all at once such as leaky fuel lines, cracked primer bulbs, clogged fuel filter and worn rubber carburetor internals. The only difficult part was feeding the fuel line through the fuel tank, as it's a tight fit. Be patient and use lubricant to aid inserting the fuel hose through the smaller fuel tank openings and keep track of the vent hose vs. the fuel supply hose! Took me about a half hour to remove the old and install the new. My Troy-Bilt 525EC now starts on the first pull. After overhauling with this assembly, just replace the oil every season and use only ethanol free fuel and your trimmer will last 20+ years.
