Carnival King 31 oz. Popcorn Kettle Cleaner

My popcorn kettle had build up from long time use. I purchased this product with hopes it would work but I wasn't expecting much. I'm glad to say how wrong I was! I put some of the Kettle Kleen in the popcorn kettle with some water. I let it sit for about 15 minutes. About 5 minutes after I turned on the kettle I started seeing stuff come to the top. Once I emptied the liquid I was shocked. My kettle looks brand new! The only draw back was the description doesn't give directions for different size kettles. However, it cleaned like a charm and I would purchase again. I wonder if this can be used on the outside of the kettle as well. Money well spent!

Excellent product! Cleaned the burned stuff on the bottom of my kettle and was easy to clean out afterwards. I didn't see anything about how to make sure this stuff was completely cleaned out of the kettle after I used it, so I just flushed the kettle with some water and it seemed to be ok... I'm still alive after eating the popcorn, so seems good! lol

Holy COW! I never leave reviews but I just had to for this. Like others I wish I had taken "before" pictures. Our popcorn machine gets used every weekend. When someone burns a batch it always leaves some black coating behind, despite using Heat n Kleen and hours and hours of scrubbing. After the last round I was sure I'd just have to replace the kettle. It was coated black inside and the rim had build up of that brown sticky stuff. Even scraping it with a metal knife (which you should never do) couldn't get it off.After 2 rounds of overnight soak with this stuff it looks amazing!! (Pics included) Not quite "new," but freaking awesome! I'm confident another soak or two will get the remaining stuff off. I can't believe it took me years to find this, but we won't be without it again!

I first used this on a popcorn kettle that had not been cleaned this way in 12 years. Yes, we washed it but there was always the baked on residue that regular washing cannot remove. I used this cleaner in it by mixing the solution a little stronger than directed and heating it until the mixture began to boil. I turned it off and let it cool down and, wow, the baked on material just sloughed off in sheets. A small amount of residue was left on the bottom so I did the same thing again and it completely removed it so that it looks brand new. Now, for the negative. When I tried it with warm to hot water on the walls of the machine it did a poor job of removing the splatter residue there. Apparently, it must be very hot to work properly. Still, my main concern was the kettle because the popcorn was beginning to have a burnt taste and this product worked great on it. I would order it again.

Great stuff. Made cleaning our popcorn kettle a breeze. We hadn’t cleaned it in awhile and this stuff cut through the grease quickly.

I bought this for a school popcorn machine that I don’t think has ever been properly cleaned. The kettle was black with years of nasty build up. It did take a couple of good soakings but it looks brand new!!! I wish I would have thought to get before and after pictures. It was really a simple process and I didn’t even have to scrub it hard. Boiling water, soak, wipe down, repeat. I dipped paper towels in the solution and wrapped the outside of the kettle to get it clean since it can’t be submersed. Worked great. Best of all, I used barely a 1/4 of the bottle!

Wouldnt say this is a bad product but I can save money and clean my popcorn machine with dawn dish detergent without worrying about it frying my skin
