Great toy for a cat of any age.
My cat loves it. She plays on it many times each day. It helps keep their toenails smooth. Great value for the money. Doesn't take up much room, quality, safe and fun. My cat is 13 years old.

While my cat love to lie on its side and scratch this is one of the first I found which would allow this. Love it!!

Makes a great catnip tray.
Feels a little cheap but I don't think it's going to get much use. I got this because my cat claws the carpet. I've tried the cardboard scratching boxes because they lay flat but he wasn't interested. I put some catnip on this and put it right near his favorite spot. He now scratches on one side of this and lays on the other side to be near the catnip. Why am I not surprised? I think I'll have to go with hardwood floors.

A Cat's Best Friend
We all love our cats, except for when they want to "love" our upholstery and carpets. We got the stratching post on the right 4 years ago when we adopted our 3 year old cat. Obvious by the amount of usage, he loves it a LOT. Just purchased a new one because his original looks, well, a little sad. Will keep the old one around until accepts the new model. No asembly required unless you want to attach the little pompom which never appealed to him from day one.
