Kate Aspen Damask Vellum Shades, Set of 24

The damask vellum shades were absolutely beautiful! They arrived very timely and in perfect condition. They need to be put together carefully as not to bend or crease. A light touch is all that is necessary to assemble. The wine glasses I chose to use were traditional Pinot Noir glasses which were a bit tall. The tea light set a little far down and could be seen. Problem solved: my caterer suggested putting little clear glass rocks that coordinated with my table top design into the bottom of the glass, then the tea light. Absolutely beautiful and well coordinated. My caterer borrowed the shades (yes, they are reusable & a great investment) for one of thier clients who happens to manufacturer wine barrels. They host very discerning guests from all over the world for wine dinners. Her client was very impressed with the shades. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product. This is a very economical centerpiece option for brides or corporate events on a tight budget. I'm thrilled to have found these literally by accident!

I used the lamp shades just as they appear in the picture. My daugther turned 15 and we had an outdoor Quinceanera and used the wine glass and lamp shade along with one other center piece after dark I lit up the candles (I used tea lights with tin container, they are less messy and more affordable) and everyone gushed over how elegant yet simple the decor was. I agree less is more every one loved them and didnt want to take them home (as is our custom) thinking I must have overpaid for the decor and wanted to keep it for future use, I had to practically put them in their hands to take home.

The picture made me think they were actual lampshades. They are small pieces of paper you fold together. The are very cute looking but I am concerned about their longevity, so I will buy some mod podge to cover the back and front of them with to make them more durable. I plan to keep them for as long as possible.

I love this product for its uniqueness, it's easy to work with, it just needs the right size glass to use with it. I wish it could have been a little larger at the top, otherwise it's just beautiful.I would recommend this product for table setting for a wedding or intimate setting.It can also be used on a floating shelf as decoration.

I really enjoyed these shades.....I used battery candles and only needed a little of scotch tape on a couple of shades to keep them in tact. Very pretty...very pleased. Would recommend! A touch of class! Thank you!

I bought them for my up coming wedding, when I saw them I saw a pictureIn my head of how I can display them on my tables! When I got them in theMail they wasn't what I was expected but I think they will be a very elegant center piece!

We used these at our wedding for candle lamp place cards. They take a while to put together and are delecate but truly elegant and beautiful. They fit the larger dollar store wine glasses best, the smaller glasses do not look as nice.

Look fabulous bought them for my up coming wedding as table decorations and extra lighting good value for money too.
