Bought for present think they will really like it .Great item would but againSeller realy helpfull and quick response had an issue with delivery seller very helpfull in helping me to sort out .

I can't say I remember specifically what sweets I had in the 50's because I rarely had any but these are probably the sort of things that were around at the time - cola cubes, pineapple cubes, liquorice all-sorts, etc. The jar is actually smaller than I expected it to be but when I think back at the price, I shouldn't have expected a massive jar!Basically it's just a small plastic jar (which looks like glass) of retro sweets with the recipient's birth year on the label and some quip about it being for a child of the 50's/60's or whatever. Not spectacular but something for the man who has everything and, lets face it, if they haven't got everything by the time they are in their mid-60's, there's something tragically wrong!

My husband is going to love this. Its his birthday soon. End of January!

The jar was smaller than expected.

Only just bigger than my tea cup. The year isn’t anything fancy, just a sticker so doesn’t add to the value in my opinion. I suppose when you think about the price of a pick n mix from the cinema, it is what it is. I haven’t sampled the sweets as bought as a gift, not sure how ‘retro’ they are, I am confident you could easily pick up the selection if not more from your local pick n mix. Oh well, one off purchase, I would be in a hurry to make this a regular add on gift

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for my partner and his bday. It’s very cute and bigger than I thought! Lovely little extra … I’ve not tasted so can’t comment but looks delicious!
