Bahco 801050 repair
Needed to repair my Bahco 801050 and Bahco said they wouldn't repair it due to it no linger being available (so much for a lifetime warranty). Only needed to 1 piece but it was worth the money to give my ratchet new life.

Fits right in...
This Williams ratchet fits right is.I love the old SnapOn mechanisms. This one is very smooth. It doesn't feel like a thirty six tooth...I have a few different Williams ratchets and they're all great...Not very expensive for SnapOn quality (from the 80's but still)

Exceptional quality!
I came back to order another one of these, as this has been the most reliable ratchet wrench in my arsenal. According to Amazon, I last purchased one in 2014 and I'm happy to say it's still wrenching away like the first day I got it.Because they have multiple options, the one I bought and am purchasing again is: the "Williams BB-52EHA 3/8-Inch Drive Enclosed Head Ratchet,Black Industrial Finish"Over the years, most of my ratchet wrenches have broken one way or another. I pulled out 4 of them that I am throwing in my metal recycling pile. Craftsman, Power, and Great Neck are all getting tossed. I went through the few remaining and the Williams is the top standout winner.

Excellent quality tool
Nice to see a USA made tool of this quality. The action feels like my 40 year old Snap-On ratchets. Not a super high count tooth mechanism but enough for tight spots and very strong. Internals come properly greased. Flawless finish. Bought a 1/4" drive too and it's just as solid.

Feels sturdy and well made, but also very stiff
Just got the tool this morning and here is my first impression:Pros:-American made-Feels good and sturdy in the hand, without being too large and bulky.-Mechanism feels very solid as well, almost no wobble or free play in the drive mechanism that you will find in cheap ratchet.-Long handle will lend itself to extra torque, and it feels sturdy enough to handle it without a problem.Cons:-lower tooth count and single pawl design combined with close machine tolerances makes it durable, but it does have considerable backdrag and the directional lever is rather stiff to switch over.Overall, this feels like a very good heavy duty ratchet for tough jobs and heavy wrenching, although it may not be the best for lighter tasks when a smaller more nimble tool is called for.
