We’ve played a few versions of Villainous, and this Marvel one has been a lot of fun for our family. Each villain feels different, so it doesn’t get repetitive, and everyone likes having their own goal to work toward. It does take a round or two to really get the hang of it, but once it clicks, it’s really enjoyable. Games can run a bit long, but that just means we’re all pretty invested. If you like Marvel and strategy games, this is a solid pick.

I first got introduced to this game years ago by some friends who had the original Disney villains version and even then it was fun. Now with the newer Marvel version, I think the fun is even more so had! I've only played as Thanos just yet but there are a few others that I'm excited to try even if I have to get the expansions to do so! If you love Magic the Gathering and board games with your family, this has many of the rule elements of MTG but in a strictly board game setting. As arguably the greatest card game ever made, that might be the contributing factor to the game's raging success. What makes it so great primarily though is that each player is almost playing their own game with their own set of rules that operate within a greater master rulebook while attempting to distract each other from completing their goals. Just buy it! No matter who you have at your house, this is your new favorite game!

This is the 1st of a series of games based on the popular Disney villain series. There are enough twists to make this different enough to be fun for even the Disney Villain experts. Easy to learn, and great replay opportunities. FYI you must have this base game to use the other expansions.

The game itself 5 stars I knocked it down because the box is damage and my pieces are not as good quality as the other ones. Every one of these boxes are a stand alone or play together. Every villan has something that is special to them that actually makes sense to that story. In this one there is two new types of tokens, one the adding and subbing strength is explained. But what are soul tokens? I haven't opened any of thr characters to find out. Other than the pieces, the art is wonderful, everything is quality. They just didn't sand down the lines for my box. It won't ruin the game, it's just a detail I noticed and wanted to point out. I can fix the two things that are wrong. Oh, another thing! While there is a wonderful plastic inset that holds everything oh so pretty Take out that insert and you can fit two more 3 player boxes in it. Also, I have found it helps to put each villian in their own bag with all their bits.... If they aren't in their own baggies you have to make sure everything is there st the start of the game, when, if you are like me you just want to set up and play.

Aunque he escuchado q no es de los mejores a mi y mi grupo de juegos nos gustó bastante, pero el hecho de compartir las cartas que molestan a los jugadores a diferencia de los de Disney si salva mucho a los villanos respectivos.

Although this this game is not easy to learn and the thickness of the pieces and cards feels cheap it’s a really fun game to play. We love that it’s a challenge and are constantly pulling out the manual to challenge each other. Great family fun!

My kids have loved the other villainous games so we and they were super excited to see a Marvel version. They noticed right away how the game pieces are of less quality then the previous versions. The game play is still fun, the makers of this game just cheeped out big time on the pieces and of course the game costs just as much as the other ones.

The build quality of this game is great and the gameplay is great

Game is fun and unique. Each character has a different goal which keeps the game interesting to play. Which there was more characters but you can get expansion but they cost almost as much as the game. The learning curve is a bit more than average but that's ok since it's a more interesting game because of the skill level involved. It's not as difficult to learn as Earth or Wingspan. You have to take time and figure out a strategy for each character as they each have their own set of cards to use while playing with them and unique special cards, tokens ..etc. The first game took over an hour but I could see it being finished less than an hour once you get used to it.

Al principio parecen muchas reglas, pero no es nada que una buena leída a las instrucciones y algunos videos de YouTube no puedan resolver. Cuando se logra entender las reglas y mecánicas del juego, se convierte en una experiencia muy agradable.
