Don't overlook the fact that this product, unlike most dish detergents, has two different uses:1.) Washing dishes; and:2.) Washing hands.(Read the fine print on the front label.)So it seems to offer an extra measure of protection during the pandemic—assuming, that is, that an anti-BACTERIAL hand soap has any practical utility at all as an anti-VIRAL agent! (Am I presuming too much?)But, frankly, I only use it occasionally for handwashing, usually just when returning home after having been out and about, and having touched numerous surfaces or objects. It's really just too harsh to use on my skin for every handwashing, especially in the colder, dryer months.And, of course, a very thorough handwashing with plain old bar soap, and lots of water, is probably just as efficacious. (I recommend DOVE for the cold, dry months, for protecting skin.)As for dishwashing, this version of Dawn does seem to have the same grease-cutting power of its blue-colored sibling (which isn't touted as an antibacterial hand soap)—with the great advantage of having a much more pleasant fragrance. (I can't stand the smell of that blue stuff!)But whether this product's "apple blossom scent" is true to life, I couldn't say. (And I grew up in a house that had two big apple trees in the yard—but I have no recollection of the fragrance of those flowers.) I think this particular Dawn scent could reasonably be characterized as industrially-concocted and well within the normal spectrum of fragrances found in American household cleaning products.But the product is pricey. (So I generally get by just fine mostly washing dishes with Dermassage—which has its own very innocuous fragrance.)

I like the product. Have used it for a long time. However, I CAN NOT understand why I had to pick it up from a UPS store and sign for it. How inconvenient and ridiculous. I do not know why those were required for dish soap. Terrible.

Hello,we all know the power of dawn soaps for the ability to clean just about anything, anywhere. well,, this orange color dish soap is no different than the blue version. coffee stains in the sink disappear with a few drops directly on the stains around the drain. it keeps the stainless and porcelain sinks sparkling and very clean with a few quick wipes.we use the blue heavy weight soap for the toilets and the orange dawn for everyday use, including our hands.a wonderful product and a staple in our household.

I have used Dawn dish soap for years now. I have used it on my dishes as well as my underwear. It gets my dishes clean and also my underwear.
