High quality
This drip pan is made of very thick steel and is a great addition to any BGE owner. This does fit in the large BGE.

Buy it!
The media could not be loaded. Love this drip pan for my Big Green Egg! It’s high quality and much thicker and heavier than expected. It fits perfect on Conveggtor plate and catches everything . I also fill it with hot water and spices to keep my briskets, butts and ribs moist throughout the cook. First time I used it I thought I ruined it and then it cleaned like brand new. Five disposable Green Egg tinfoil trays cost $21 this is well worth it!

Expensive, solid, great fit for a Kamado Joe Classic (18"), harder to clean
I use this as a drip tray in my Kamado Joe classic 2 (18", same diameter as Classic 3) when doing low and slow cooking.firebox -> cross accessory -> deflector plates in low position -> this as a drip tray -> grills -> meatThe main issue with this is that the name is embossed. I understand that's a way to have the brand visible... but it's a pain to clean well near and around the letters. This would be 5 stars if the manufacturer had just used some laser engraving instead.

Green Egg smoker water pan
I believe this pan is well worth the investment compared to constantly buying the disposal thin aluminum ones.

If you are on the fence wondering if this will work for your round smoker, get it.
I have a recteq bullseye and a big green egg, and love to smoke bacon wrapped jalepenos on my bullseye. The problem I was having was the grease from the bacon dripping down and building up, and causing flame-ups. Recteq support guys told me to add a drip pan and I found this one, and it is perfect. It is heavy stainless steel and looks so beautiful (at least while new) that I served a thanksgiving turkey on it. I recently smoked ribs and used this pan with water and coke in it. It had a nice layer of charred sugar and grease. I soaked it overnight and the next day everything flaked off and it looked good again. Highly recommend this drip pan.
