The clock in our kitchen was a wedding gift from 115 years ago. When it stopped my wife was upset so I went looking for a solution to repair it. This item was a perfect fit for the internal clock work. It literally took only 15 minutes to install. The instructions were good and helpful. ( that's almost a miracle these days) and a week later it is keeping perfect time. Glad I found this and bought it. My wife is happy that her clock is working well, which means I'm happy.... Good purchase!

My brother crafted a solid cherry schoolhouse pendulum clock for our parents using this movement about 36 years ago. Parents and brother have since passed, and I ended up with this family heirloom that was working perfectly until it stopped. With very little info on the clockworks to locate a replacement, I became disheartened with online searches. UNTIL I checked Amazon. Here I found the EXACT replacement almost to a T (minor color variation on parts). I ordered, installed easily, and the clock/pendulum are working perfectly!

This USA made movement works great after struggling to get it to mount correctly. The package did not come with enough spacers/washers to get the proper stem length for our clock face so we had to use parts off our old movement and find additional washers to make it work. The kit also only comes with only a wide hour and minute hand. We preferred more petite/decorative hands and tried to make our existing ones work but they would not fit properly. We also had to use our existing pendulum as the pendulum kit that comes with this clock movement would not swing smoothly. When the pendulum swings the movement makes a slight ticking noise that you can hear if the house is completely quiet.

Works as expected .... Might use in another clock as I think I want chimes ....

I've had this since dec 2023 and several times this year, my clock keeps losing time, even after fresh batteries. The original one for my clock lasted over 25 years, and still kept time, but the pendulum wouldn't swing anymore. I didn't expect 25+ from a new one, but less than 2 years is ridiculous. This one cost more than others, but I needed this style and shape.

Was so happy to find this as a replacement for one that was about 10 years old and stopped working. This was easy to install- definitely recommend just make sure you check your measurements!

After use for the chimes got quieter and quieter until none at all. Same with the hour strike. Until nothing. However it still runs and keeps time. Initially wasn't a good fit, and a lot of modification was necessary, and finally made it work. I would not recommend this unit at, especially for the cost. I cound have spent a lot less for this quality.
