Surprisingly good
I had to replace my childrens record player which was very similar to this one. The sound is clear and surprising good. The player stops at the end of the record which is definitely a plus as now I don't have to keep switching it off when they fall asleep. The blue tooth works although I don't think it will see a great deal of use. It came with an extra needle. It's a nice little record player.

A trip down memory lane
The media could not be loaded. We have a record played - somewhere. It has moved home countless times and been in storage several times, and its something we never bothered unpacking and worked out it was over 25 years since either of us had played vinyl until today. So I was offered this record player to review, and thought it looked neat and compact so I accepted and my daughter was delighted - she is 18 and couldn't wait to try it along with some of our old records. We had to remind her, and ourselves of the do's and don't with records, and they are so easily scratched and damaged. The first thing was to shut one of our dogs out of the room as she has no respect for people or objects! My daughter tried the player first with some old Mcfly picture singles we have but don't remember getting! Then for nostalgia I popped on a couple of other singles before putting on some Wham!So for me the sound quality is good enough. I know CD's produce a better sound but I was brought up on vinyl and so I am happy enough with the quality. The volume is hard to hear on the lower volume setting but great when turned up.It has 3 speed settings. We played my Wham! album at all 3 settings just to show our daughter the various settings and how albums sound (pinky and perky!) on the wrong settings. There is a needle lift so you don't have to balance the needle over the record and drop. The suitcase the player comes in is robust and secure. There are 4 different designs, mine is dark grey which is pretty and it looks great. The player remains open when using, you need to ensure its on a secure surface particularly with albums as they would easily snap if the lid fell, they are larger than the turntable. The case has one strong clip to fasten and has a strong carry handle. In all I am really happy with this record player and I am so pleased I had the chance to use it. Being portable it is so much user friendly than old players and wifi systems, so we are much more likely to use it.💕I would definitely recommend it! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gateway vinyl player with better Bluetooth speaker
The media could not be loaded. Nostalgia ain't what it used to be...Want a cheap turntable and Bluetooth speaker? Try this. This is the Byron Statics Vinyl Record Player in black and dark gray pattern, 3 speed, twin speakers, RCA line out, Aux in in a suitcase comes with power lead 1.5m, line our RCA cable and spare needle (stylus).Unboxing this set up was a bit of a trip for me, after spending so much of my life behind decks, I have a suitcase in front of me...opening up reveals all the usual suspects a very small belt driven turntable (no slipmat but 4 small rubber tabs), inner insert (for old jukebox singles), speeds 33, 45 or 78, line in, volume control, stylus arm control up / down, phono / line in or Bluetooth input choice, autostop button and phone input via 3.5mm. It looks OK, maybe a lot of plastic...but let's not be too critical yet. So switch to phono, put on a 12", lift stylus arm move across, the turntable starts, I lower stylus...crackle, pump up the volume to 11. This is a mistake as the sound is more tinny than the tin man playing a load of empty bean cans wow. I feel deflated. The two speakers at the front can't be that bad can they? No bottom. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. So let's try another input, I try playing some music via Bluetooth, first KLF, then some Porno For Pyros. The sound isn't that bad, must be the phono player. OK there are not great lower ranges but mid n upper seem fine. So the phono input has an inferior sound...I know, I'll put two stereo leads into it and try via an external speaker (there is no output to an external Bluetooth speaker, sad face), so same record Beasties and Rock Hard. And exactly the same issue, tinny. So the speakers are fine, the issue is the phono player channel and output. Shame that. I know it was never going to be 1210 standard, but something listenable like a hifi phono. This set up has missed a trick, it seems it is just a portable Bluetooth speaker with a bolt on turntable for gimmicks sake. And it gets worse...if on the move you can't even store the power lead in the case, as it won't fit.If this had been double the price I would've marked it down considerably, but for the price you get a decent deal to be honest. As I've spent that kinda money on worse Bluetooth speakers! With this you get an add on turntable, which OK, is not the best, but it will be suitable for most and a really good gateway to the world of vinyl for teens. So with that, I'd recommend, it won't be an overly pleasant audio experience, but an experience none the less. And you get exactly what you pay for.And you are not paying the earth.

Retro style
Vinyl record player arrived in the brown cardboard box with label containing all the info about it.For £42.99 it is rather basic but good and well made player. It is nicely designed in the form of retro style suitcase. Grey in colour. Portable.Sound is clear and decent for the price. Still it is only 2*1Watt. So it is not the best comparing with top range sound systems.Easy to use. Modern connections like bluetooth or aux available.Recommended
