Great off brand charger
This aftermarket charger does a great job. It fits my OEM batteries for my Yaesu FT-3d and FT-5d with no issues. The quality is well built and you pay less than the OEM charger. This charger comes with the power cord, when the OEM you have to purchase separately. Highly recommended

Great Charging dock for FT3DR.
I have had this dock for my FT3DR for close to a year now. It has been working fantastically. I dont have the dock made by yaesu to compare to but this dock does charge my handheld pretty quickly. Only complaint is the green light on mine doesn't work so the lights just cut off once the handheld if done charging.

Under charges and emits RFI
You get what you pay for... The price is good and I got a charging base and wall wart for $10 cheaper than the OEM charger base alone. As another reviewer mentioned, it doesn't charge to a full 8.4V. Mine charges to 8.1V. However, this may be a good thing in the long run as being undercharged a little bit will prolong battery life so I don't really consider a minor under-volt to be a negative but some may not feel the same way. Why I took away two stars though, the RFI interference when sitting in the charging dock. I definitely saw interference and so if one wants to use the charging dock and listen to the radio at the same time, you will likely find the same interference. The RFI went away as soon as I removed the radio from the base. I would've given the unit a 5 star if the manufacturer would've engineered a unit that delivered a cleaner DC input. *update* Just a little over a month after I purchased this charger, a weird bug/glitch has occurred. I left the battery with radio in the charger and today I saw that it no longer has a green light, it was off. I tried reseating the radio in the charger and it blinked red and then shut off again. I turned on the radio and it was at 8.4V. This charger has never charged it to 8.4V before, always 8.1V. That is okay, I just wish it would charge to 8.4V every time. I put in another battery and it shows green at 8.1V. I will leave that battery in there and see if it takes it to 8.4V over a couple days. Regardless, I think this charger deserves a downgrade from my previous rating for this unexpected behavior, as well as the fact this charger should be charging to 8.4V ALL THE TIME ANYWAY. *2nd update* So this charger does charge batteries to 8.4V, it just takes a very long time to do it. I left a pack in there 3-4 days and it shut off, just like it did previously before. No light, nothing. If I insert a battery, I get a blinking red light and it shuts off again. I checked the battery, and it was at 8.4V which is max voltage for a li-ion battery. I would have to guess that this charger is set to charge to 8.1V, then slow trickle charge to 8.4V, which is absolutely fine. The bulk of the charge is really all I need, and frankly, this is good for a healthy battery to not take it right to 8.4V anyway. I bumped my review up to 4 stars now that I'm seeing repeated behavior with this charger but the RFI still is annoying.

Works well as a factory replacement
Purchased to compare to the factory Yeasu charger. This charger works exactly as the factory charger and it is a fraction of the price. The form factor of the charger is similar to my FT60 Yaesu charging cradle. The power supply is also the same as the FT60 charger. Overall the fit is similar but not quite as precise as the factory Yaesu but the power contacts are aligned properly so they function the same.

Does not work as expected
Purchased this for my FT5D and worked great for about 3 charges. Love how it is angled but after that I just can't get it to charge anymore unless I hold it just right or wedge something between the radio and charger. The charging contacts are not bent in anyway so I don't know why it's like it is now.
