First, let me say that this is not a typical "crystal bible" that you've probably seen a million times. It does not give you the name of the crystal with (maybe) a photo and then a long list of magical attributes. Instead, the book is arranged by usage such as love, money, physical healing, emotional healing, etc.It gives you specific needs followed by a list of crystals, affirmations, and activities (spells) or different ways to use the crystals for each purpose.It was especially detailed in the chakra cleansing and energizing section for a book on crystals and not chakras. It's more informative in that area, as in many others, than any other crystal book that I have read.A nice thing is that many of the crystals she mentions in the book have multiple uses. This is helpful for a beginner that can't go out and spend hundreds of dollars worth of new crystals to do any of the activities. Quartz, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, and Onyx would get you through most of what she suggests.

I am a rockhound and on occasion pick up rocks/gems/crystals that I want to know what they are as well as their healing properties. This book is not to identify a rock/gem/crystals but is to tell of a select few, of their attributes. Pictures are always helpful and although there are a few in this book, I think all of them mentioned should've been pictured.
