Senosoft contains Macrogol 4000, which is an osmotic laxative that promotes re-hydration and softens the stools, helping to make them easier to pass. It is not absorbed or metabolised in the intestinal tract. It provides effective constipation relief that works with your body to relieve constipation. Sugar free, gluten free and flavour free. Suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women - consultation with a doctor is advised before use.How to Use: For adults and children over 12 years of age 1-2 sachets per day. May be increased up to 4 sachets per day if required. Dosage should be increased or reduced, according to the individual response to the treatment, in order to promote regular bowel movements. Maximum dose should not exceed 4 sachets per day. Pour the powder in water or in other liquids (125 ml for each sachet), stirring for 30 seconds or until dissolved, and drink it immediately after. In case of minimum dose intake (1 sachet daily), it is recommended to take the product in the morning. For higher doses, split the intake between morning and evening.The product may reduce the gastrointestinal transit time and thus reduce the absorption of orally administered drugs. Consult a doctor before using the product if taking any other treatment by mouth. In any case, the interval between oral doses of Senosoft and other oral drugs should be at least 2 hours. In case of adverse reactions stop using the product and consult your doctor.Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store in a dry and cool place, protected from light and away from heat sources. The expiry date refers to the product stored correctly, in undamaged package.

When you need to go....
Bought for my elderly mother. She takes a sachet any time she needs help in going. It’s great as it’s an osmotic laxative, just draws fluid into the bowel rather than causing bowel cramps. so what’s produced is soft rather than hard and just forced out. A gentle way to reintroduce a regular bowel movement.

On Day 10 this started to work! And only after I added in Senokot on Days 8 and 9. It is SLOOOOOW. It does say it’s gentle and they ain’t kidding :-) it was a long wait to get some relief...

Quite strong for me. Works but needed less that 1 sachet
Worked in 2 days. Effective. But I found not idea for my IBS. Had pain from IBS for a few days afterwards. Not entirely the fault of these! As they are in powder form, I can take less than one sachet, if needed. Usually take lactulose, but ran out.Am shielding re covid, so didn't want to go to local chemist. .At a later date, I did eventually find some lactulose on Amazon. But am still trying the Sensosoft in small doses to see if it helps.

Very pleased.
Works well and doesn’t give me any cramps. It does give the water a slight mastic gum taste which I actually really like. Overall good purchase.

They work gentle but slowly
Gentle help with going for me one a day normally enough and no taste pop it in any drink and you don't know its there but it is not quick so take 1 well before you really need it
