I have been shaving my head bald for about 15 years now and i have bounced from one cheap head shaver to another. I am lucky to get one year out of the handheld part and roughly 6-8 weeks with the blades. blades are a hit or miss on most and even though they are cheaper its questionable if they are going to work.After my last generic shaver went I finally caved and bought one of these pitbull head shavers. I was skeptical but it was a on sale. I was already intrigued by the ability to remove the entire face plate off in one piece and clean the entire shave head. Most have individual blade covers that are a pain to take apart and break easily.I received this item in a couple days and gave it a try. My hair was a bit longer than normal so i figured this is a good way to try it out. It was fully charged and had a perfect sized box. The plastic guard is also nice quality so i actually put it back on the blade when i am done. I started using it and it made QUICK work of my head. Using a circular motion i only had to pass over each area about 2-3 times to have it baby smooth! and my entire head (including in between the head rolls) was done in about 90 second. Popped off the guard and it tapped out perfectly clean in a couple seconds! Needless to say i was impressed. The next morning i used it again as i do this every day and i was done in a matter of 30-45 seconds. (Keep in mind most of the generic razors are a 5+ minute process and i usually have to clean them later because thats another 5-10 minutes.)The handle grip is super comfortable and ergonomic, which has changed the way I hold the device and made it much more comfortable and a closer shave. The blades are sharp because nothing stops this thing! It does allow for wet or dry shaving which i actually would be willing to try out with this. Most of the other brands say the same thing but the second you get it wet, it makes the blades super dull and the machine not function well. The cut is close and clean, i have never got any shave or razor burn at all! and the battery is crazy! I used to have to plug my shaver in every day. I forgot all about charging this thing and by week two i realized it was finally on two lights instead of three!Overall this is an amazing machine. I have no idea what the difference is between the silver/gold/platinum other than the price. But for $60 this thing was 100% worth it! you get your value out of it. Within a couple days i ordered two more blades which price wise is not much different from generics at about $30 each. I am curious to see how long they last. Even if i get 3 months out of each one i will be happy! I highly recommend, if you are thinking about finally getting a quality device for a little more money as opposed to saving a couple bucks and buying a junk one that you will need to replace in 6 months, DO IT!

I've always wanted one of these, but I could never pull the trigger. I've been shaving my head with a 5-blade razor forever. It can be a hassle and time consuming, though. I finally decided to purchase the Skull Shaver Pitbull Silver Pro. It's perfect. I can shave my head in half the time it takes me to shave with a razor blade. I would highly recommend this for those that are tired of the chore of shaving with a razor. It doesn't get as close to the scalp as a razor blade, but it does the job. On the days that I want a closer shave, I use a razor. Other than that, the Skull Shaver has become my everyday go to.

This is a Great trimmer/shaver. It really does cut super close leaving the scalp smooth and without razor bumps. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to it breaking 4th time using it. It was dropped in the shower and it busting into 4 pieces. Totally my fault of course but feel like it should be able to take a drop from waist height and still be usable.

Okay, why I waited so long to get this, I really don't know. I write this under a shared account, but dang! This shaver is amazing! I dread shaving my head, just cause I've only ever felt like bic'ing was the only way. Those that say it isn't isn't like bic'ing.... not sure what they are doing wrong but this is very close. Sure there are a few spots that seem difficult to get skin smooth but wow. It's quiet, it's not heavy, it came with a charge long enough to do a complete shave, all for a great price! I'm only wondering if I should've got the gold version now. Funds just didn't allow for it. Fits right in my palm. Contours nicely to those hard to reach places. Just hope those that say it craps out in 6 months, just got unlucky. Should've bought this one first, over the other Amazon similarly priced shaver.

best head shaver I've bought so far, strong motor and battery. I can let my hair grow for 3 days and this shaver just eats through it in a few minutes and no worries of pausing to clean it out, just wait until I'm done, add a small amount of supplied oil to blades every few shaves. I usually get around 3-5 shaves until battery needs charged.

Had this for over a month now, use it several times a week. Easily the best head shaver I've ever used. Shaves my head very quickly, even if I let my hair grow out longer than usual. I have somewhat sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate my skin at all.

Works good so far. Catches hair good. Not worth the money tho. Is made out of thin plastic. Very expensive when not on discount. 5 razors would be nice, but for that you have to buy the even more expensive one. Not worth it. There are others ones out there that are waterproof and have 5 razors for half the price.Looks cool tho. But would not buy again. Bought for $68 or so
