Material too thin. Can see through it.

Previous reviews were mixed, but I decided to try ordering them anyway to see which was true. These are THIN and SEE THROUGH. No question. The images for this item are completely misleading. It may be cotton, but this is just as thin and see-through as any polyester or spandex blend gaiter. There are NOT suitable for virus wearing or even for protection against soil or dust for that matter. I take the most issue with the lack of transparency and honesty the seller takes in regards to their images. These masks look nowhere near as solid as in the images and can be seen right through when held up. VERY THIN. Dear seller, please fix your posting to be more honest. I can't even use these -_-

Best summer neck gaiter in this price range . I have tried a wide range of gaiters. For landscaping or use as a face covering when one is required these things are the best. Thick tight knit cotton . There is one I like better that's made of viscose and cotton but it's 20 bucks for just one. These are just about as good as that one for just over 30 for three.

They were light weight and fairly easy to breath through but they don't stay up very well. They were Way easier than trying to breath through a paper mask. And if you don't need to wear it like outside you just pull it down and it's stays around your neck. Other wise I would go outside take off my paper mask and would have to look for a place to put it. I had my husband try it too thinking his head is a little bit bigger but he found them hard to keep up also. I may add 2 small pieces of elastic so when I have it up and can hook it around my ears .

Too big to use as face mask, won't stay up. Material is very thick. Useless to me without alterations.

Has a chemical smell that won't wash out. Color fades easily with normal cotton wash.

They are good looking and they are large enough to allow you to fold so you can have 2 (maybe even 3) folds between your mouth/nose and the virus world. They smell like a t-shirt. That is, just cotton. That said, the "surgical masks" are easier to keep in place effectively. I have to pull/tug/adjust these pretty often as they do slide down my nose over a few minutes. I like having this around my neck all the time so I don't have to walk half way to the store, turn around and go get my mask. It's always there to be pulled up.
