Very quiet, great value
Literally the quietest air pump we’ve ever owned, and my hearing is neuro-spicy-I’m extremely sensitive to sound. I’ll definitely purchase more as our aquariums expand. We have two of them (for 2 tanks) side by side and the only time I hear anything is if something gets leaned up against it. Move the object and I’m right back to suuuuper quiet again. Adjustable air flow allows for better control of oxygen levels. If it has any drawback, it’s that it would be nice if each port had its own air flow control. Bang for buck, it can’t be beat.

It's quiet, puts out a lot of air, a good value!
Pros: - Just like all the other reviews say, this is a quiet air pump. It's not silent but puts out a small hum that's difficult to hear, even if you adjust the output to the max. It is however the quietest air pump I have ever come across. - It puts out a generous amount of air, enough to power sponge filters in my 60g tank and 5g shrimp tank simultaneously. My aquatic pets seem to appreciate the extra airflow and water movement. - It doesn't seem to generate much if any heat. Some other air pumps I've seen have a noticeably warm sensation on their housing, probably from the vibration of the diaphragm inside. This pump says it's magnetic, there's no vibration and you can barely tell it's on. - The build quality seems solid, as of this writing I've had it on for three weeks, 24 hours a day, no issues so far. Cons - It's a little larger than other air pumps but that's a small trade off based on what it does. - A little expensive but you get what you pay for.

Great purchase
So far so good! I love that it is adjustable, unlike the last one I had. It's super quiet and keeps a good flow!

Comes with valves and air stones
Overall, I am very happy with the Hygger Small Quietest Aquarium Air Pump. It is very quiet, even when both outlets are open. I can only hear the sound of the bubbles in the water, not the pump itself. The pump is also very powerful, and it easily provides enough oxygen for my 10-gallon aquarium. The package includes everything you need to get started, including two air stones, two valves, and two air tubes. I was pleasantly surprised to find the valves and air stones included, as they were not mentioned in the product description. The only downside of the pump is that both outlets need to be open. You cannot close one outlet and use the other. This is not a major problem for me, but it is something to keep in mind if you are looking for a pump with only one outlet. Overall, I highly recommend the Hygger Small Quietest Aquarium Air Pump. It is a quiet and powerful pump that is perfect for small aquariums. Pros: Very quiet Powerful Includes everything you need to get started (air stones, valves, and air tubes) Affordable price Cons: Both outlets need to be open

Powerful and can be quiet
This pump is really powerful and the adjustable flow rate is really nice. I purchased it to replace two "whisper" pumps that were powering a sponge filter and a bubble wand. At the lowest flow rate, you can barely hear anything at all. Unfortunately, while it's enough to pull water through the sponge filter, it's not enough to push air though a 14 inch bubble wand. The more you turn the flow up, the louder the pump gets. However, at at output that I think approximates the two pumps I had powering the filter and wand, it is significantly quieter. At full power, I'd say it probably about the same, maybe even a tad quieter. But, it's much more powerful than the combined output of the two "whisper" pumps. The cost was about 2x what I paid for the other two pumps. Factoring in that it's adjustable, more powerful, and can be significantly quieter, it's well worth the investment. Time will tell regarding durability. I read some reviews that stated it wasn't really adjustable, in that there was really only about 2-3 levels encountered when turning the knob. I didn't find this to be true, and experienced a significant degree of control. You will want to use both outputs of you want quiet operation, so plan on two airstones at the very least.

Amazing air pump!
So far it's amazing, I just put it all together and hooked it up to a sponge filter for my shrimp tank and then left the other hose as a bubbler. It is beyond quiet, no annoying vibrations that drive me crazy. The air output is strong, and very efficient. I am not disappointed in this air pump at all! I would definitely buy another one if I ever need too.

So quiet and powerful!
soooo quiet! Set up a new 20 gallon hex tank and bought a tetra whisperer for my sponge filter and an airstone. It couldn’t power both at the same time and was SO LOUD. This one is so quiet and i have it turned pretty low and it’s producing so much air for both the sponge and airstone

So quiet
This is so quiet no humming. Most people don’t realize that you MUST COVER BOTH AIR PORTS. If you only use one port, you will need to put a hose and cut off valve of the air port. Otherwise the other port is still working creating noise. Manufacturer should state this clearly, but they don’t.

I only gave it 1-star because I cannot give it zero stars. I can not believe the “response” that I had from this supplier when an aquarium air-pump failed with burden-out actuator and vibration-damaged internal wiring after just 5-weeks operation. I will not buy any Hygger product again, but worse than that, the supplier flatly refuses to enter into any reasonable correspondence when I attempted to report a failure. They simply ignore their obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, where goods are supplied, a legal contract for the sale or supply of goods exists between the trader and the consumer. This means that the trader - not the manufacturer - is responsible for the goods that they supply.

The adjuster is finiky. I have different pumps that are quieter. It is not horrible just not as quiet as it claims.

Excellent aquarium air pump. Lots of pressure which is adjustable. Very quiet.

I breed betta fish, and always have multiple cultures running, which gives my main floor a constant hum that is annoying for daily life. This is the quietest pump I've ever used, and significantly quieter than the next quietest in my stock, the Fluval 0.5/1.0. Absolutely the best investment in my fish chore sanity, since it's pretty much silent. We'll be adding a second pump with more cultures shortly, which I have been delaying due to noise... no longer a factor!

Replaced two individual pumps with this. Running 4 sponge filters for 2 x 20 gallon long aquariums. Everything works as it should and the pump is silent! Would purchase again.
