At 42 millimeters in diameter, this watch is smaller that many current chronographs; it is clearly designed more for function than fashion. Having said that, it is beautiful nonetheless...Online photos cannot capture its true appearance, and do not do it justice. The black color is metallic, almost like a black chrome, and is very striking. The white numerals on the dial are outlined in red, which is barely noticeable at first, but very pleasing when you see it. Compared to other, similar Victorinox watches, this model has rounded edges, and is a little less thick...perfect for dress use.Controls are typical Victorinox, and will be familiar to anyone who's ever owned one of these watches. Timekeeping is precise, of course. The watch is packaged in a robust case, with the instruction manual and all appropriate documents.

I had been looking for a replacement wrist watch for more than a year. My last purchase of a wrist watch lasted and performed as I expected for more than 25 years. Just felt it was time to update. Looked, looked, and looked at everything. This Victorinox Field watch with the orange band is the one I decided upon after all this time. Keeps perfect time! Love the styling. Love it!

I bought this watch believing they are an authorized Victorinox reseller. The watch was faulty and jumping ahead hours every day. When I called the manufacturer they declined any support due to this. Beware!

High quality watch that looks fantastic. I tried a lot of black face watches and this is my favorite. Great clear crystal, easy to read numbers and time, water proof for sports and is not huge like a lot of today's watches.

When I first saw this watch, it was listed as a women's watch. It was also about $75 cheaper. It kind of grew on me. even though it was more expensive. it was now listed. as a men's watch, but I bought it anyway. I am not sorry. Even though it is a big watch, it is comfortable. I also like the fact that t is a Swiss watch, and Swiss watches are known for durability and accuracy, I also like the rubber band in orange. It is bright but not loud,

I have had this watch for for about a year now, and it serves its purpose well.
