Ergobaby Original Award Winning Ergonomic Multi-Position Baby Carrier with X-Large Storage Pocket, Sailor

This is my second ergo carrier (the first one was lost— not worn out!!) and I love this style. I’ve always liked baby facing in, so this classic style works well for me and my baby. The pattern is cute but not overly noticeable. The canvas is soft and washed/worn in. Love it! I can wear this for hours for walks, travel and hikes. I find it to be exceptionally comfortable.

Easy to put on and adjust to fit. Appears to fit all size adults. I purchased with the infant insert, my baby is newborn size and fit comfortably.

Good quality but virtually impossible to put on yourself. One of the buckles going in between your shoulder blades, to many snaps, and to much extra material. I'm petite in height and felt it was so bulky.

I love this carrier because it is super comfy and comes with the newborn insert for when the baby is small and needs to be close to you at all time! Only issue is you can use it forward facing but you can buy the one that is made for that. I love the nautical print too as we are a boating family.

I'll start by saying I didnt get this on amazon but I got it new off ebay with the infant insert for half the market price. My son liked it and I did use it a lot but it always hurt my back and shoulders. I just thought that's how baby carriers are and dealt with it so I could be hands free. I should have done more research because I wanted a carrier I could forward face and this original only does inward facing. I did try the hip carry position but it was actually painful and the baby didnt like it. I ended up using my ktan for the hip carry. I used it when he was a newborn a lot and to take the strain off my arms when he was bigger but I think there are better carriers out there for the price. I tried on the lillebaby and am getting that one for baby #2.

Considering how expensive this was ($110) I wasn't impressed. My baby didn't like being so squished up inside the pack. It's so wide there's no way for the baby's legs to hang out. A friend loaned me her baby bjorn. That was perfect! The baby is able to be in a comfortable sitting position without his legs being squished underneath him. Save your money.

I am so happy that I went with the Ergobaby. I had tried one on at a meeting and loved it, then had to decide between a Tulla, Lillibaby and Ergo. after lots and lots of research decided on Ergo, so glad I did and love love love the design, adorable. We use it all the time, even my husband will use it.
