I need all the help I can get. Always keep this and the Tuttle Japanese Vocabulary Study Card around when watching a Japanese film or reading a book where Japanese characters or expressions may pop up. Especially like being able to quickly check hiragana and katakana. These have lots of information and are easy to use and very useful. The size is perfect, and the characters quite legible. I also have Tuttle's Korean and Mandarin Study Cards, just because they're so quick and easy to use. Highly recommended for beginners.

LOVE that the 3-holed punches aren't impeding the text. I've bought some other laminated guide and some of them, the holes are punched in after the text is added so some of the words and characters are missing, making that portion of the guide useless. but with this Japanese conversation one at least, the text is actually moved to the left or right of the holes so that there is space for the hole and the text is 100% clear to read next to it.Easy to read, not cluttered.
