This is a well-made product, and it's fun to encode and decode secret spy messages with the kids. It takes just a minute to learn how to use. Quality parts and construction. The wheels are cut with a laser, so are perfectly cut, and the letters are also laser etched, and will not wear out. The pins at the center of the wheel are metal, not plastic. Obviously a 'labor of love' from the maker. It's also made in the USA.The only downside is the shipping cost is high when buying just one unit. I would suggest the seller ship 100 units to Amazon and try offering them with Prime shipping.Shipping cost aside, we're very pleased with the product, and it's not only fun, but teaches kids (and adults) how encryption works.

Five stars easily!!! More if I could! The sellers were absolutely amazing and even did a special in memory message engraving on the back that I requested! They did this with no extra charge! This engraving really means the world to me and my fiancé. I bought this as a gift in memory of his father who passed 3 years ago. His father loved all things math and science and especially loved Alan Turing. This really meant so much. Also, it arrived at my home so fast! I opened it and was just completely amazed by the beauty of this product. I can tell it is very important work to them and they should take great pride in it! My fiancée LOVES it. I did not expect such high quality craftsmanship. Its very precise and compact. It's easy to take along and very handy. My kids aren't too interested in computer coding, but I believe in their generation you won't even be able to run a barbershop without a working knowledge of computer language. So, I know the girls want to keep secrets from the boys and vise versa. It's a little work, but it's not going to be a foreign concept when they get a little older and the computer coding is more of a necessity. PLUS, it gets them out of the end user mode. It's on them to make it interesting and fun. Thank you for such a beautiful tool!

Overall this is impressive. The design is well thought out and once you get the hang of it, it is actually really fun and very addictive. It may be a little fussy to turn at first, but after cracking a couple of coded messages provided with it, you will be spinning the wheels like a pro. Good job on the design!

This is a wonderful cipher. It will be used over and over. Very durable and beautiful craftsmanship. The cipher can be as complicated or easy as you like. This is a great product at an affordable cost. I highly recommend this company!
