Q: Why are there different ear tip sizes and how do I know which ear tip size is right for me?

I would say they are both the same size, these are not in-ear earphones that require different size “ear canal plugs” these just sit in your ear at the entrance of the canal (the Cavum). In the olden days this type used to have foam covers but these have a silicone cover that is more comfortable and more “grippy”. The second pair of silicone covers you get are the same size with the addition of a curved part that fits into the (Cymba) for extra grip: for sports I imagine and a small eartip that goes only slightly into the canal and is not really noticeable. So the main difference here is that these are earphones not earbuds, I think the title imparts a little confusion.

Q: Is the microphone noise isolating on these headphones? Does it cancel out external noise so that people can hear you clearly when you are talking?

They work very well, I use them when calls come in, and I use them a lot as i am working at home and also use them to have a conference. They do work as I expect.
