Quality chocolates arrived film wrapped in 6s
Chocolates are film wrapped and undamaged. Best before is 12 weeks away which is ample. Box was not sealed closed but the packs were all intact inside.Melt in the mouth chocolates, what’s not to like?

treat yourself but not someone else
Hotel Chocolat is always quality chocolate that tastes great but I don't get to visit often enough so I love that I am able to get packs on here. I just wouldn't recommend as a gift for someone else and be careful what time of year you order them! I received 1 packet of chocolate (pralines) that despite being well within the best before date, had already bloomed which means it wasn't kept in proper temperatures. Having received warm summer parcels in the past I held off ordering until beginning of October too! Good value though, the best before dates were Nov x1, Jan x1, Feb x2, June x2.

Excellent Selection
I usually buy the long sleekster box of tipsy truffles from Hotel Chocolat, but this Selectors Collection is much better value and just as many truffles as the sleekster. My hubby is very happy with his. They arrived well packaged and look fresh. They have a good long use by date too.

Bought for a friend but hard to give away!
The only shortcoming is the box in which they arrive - on the outside it just looks like a brown cardboard box. Open it up though and it's a whole different experience. The inside of the box is classic Hotel Chocolat design and the little packs of individual flavours look seriously tempting. These were a present for a friend who said that he wouldn't have picked it out for himself but that the flavours were absolutely delicious. A good buy on my part and I wouldn't hesitate to buy as a last minute gift for someone in the future.

Old and dry
I’ve had Hotel Chocolat before, and this batch wasn’t up to their usual standard. The chocolates seemed either old or have been exposed to heat. They were dry, misshapen, and had white patches on them. This isn’t typical of Hotel Chocolat’s usual quality, which is usually excellent. My comments are specifically about the product I received.
