Doesn't tangle and pretty chew resistant.
I have a new puppy, Jake, (English Springer Spaniel) and a crate but wanted the puppy to have more range out of the crate to get him use to a larger area as his territory so I used the cable to tie him to the crate with a harness. I used a couple of washable puppy training pads around the crate to catch any accidents. In the first month (8 to12 weeks) he had a few accidents but they all landed on the training pad. Th cable is very sturdy and although my pup loves to chew on it, so far, has not broken through the vinyl coating. The other really nice thing about this cable is that it doesn't twist up like cotton and nylon leads I have used in the past. He's now 14 weeks old and we haven't had an accident in over three weeks. He know his territory around his crate and won't soil it. I'm allowing him more freedom in the house now and so far no accidents. For the most part Springers are clean dogs and reasonably easy to train. Jake has never soiled his crate even in 6 to 7 hours over night. This cable makes it a lot easier to train without the chewing and twisting problems normally associated with other types of traditional leads.

Chew proof!
We've owned this for a few months now. We have a pretty naughty beagle pup who's almost a year old and can chew through nearly anything, including several previous tie outs. Not this one! We use it on a line in between two trees so that she has plenty of room since we don't have a fenced in yard. Plus the color is really pretty!

Good quality, happy with purchase
I have a 4 year old husky who doesn't really pull very much but does like to try to chew at her tie-outs. I've had this one about a month and use it indoors (to keep her in the kitchen rather than a baby gate). There are definitely teeth marks and I can see the steel in some places when I stretch it out, but there are no sharp or dangerous bits (at least yet) because of the type of material coating the cord.Overall I've been happy with it. The openers work well and the color was pretty. I will probably replace it in about 3-6 months, depending on dog chew levels, and will buy this one again.

Great tie out
We use this when we go camping for our 35 pound French Bulldog. The longer cables found at pet stores and big box retailers give him too much room to tangle himself up. This length is just right. We either tether him to the picnic table or the bottom step of our fifth wheel. He’s got just enough room to walk around without tying himself in knots around our chairs or feet.

This works great
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this for my 45lb pitbull and I love it. It's very sturdy and I'm confident in it's strength. I don't have a fence around my front yard so it was difficult taking her outside with me. I'm always with her but this adds an extra level of protection and it's easier than holding a leash

Best tie out I ever had.
Best tie out I ever had. We added a clip on leash handle to one end & use it for both tie out and walking our high energy Mini Ausie, It has flexibility, great crimping hardware & clips. I would buy again if I ever need.

Great restraint
Does not tangle. Keeps our 48 pound dog restrained at the campground. She is a puppy and has chewed the insulation off about 8 inches of the end near her collar.

The MOST Successful Option We've Found
Granted, I haven't tried out a bunch of cables -- mostly leashes when needed to tether our son's pup -- who, when bored, would chew through every one we tried. This one has held up perfectly..(4 months). He's not even interested in ever chewing it (yay!) and it's done much better not getting tangled. Really grateful.
