**Q: would a dual monitor stand fit on the Back?**
A: It would obviously depend on size. The free area of length from the shelving is 97cms and the width available behind my lap top  is 28 cms. Don't know if that helps but I am certainly very pleased with the desk.

**Q: Can the desk be a standalone piece without attaching the shelves to the desk as well?**
A: No it can't but as we're using it as a computer desk the shelving has been very useful.

**Q: Can one of the shelves be moved or removed to make room for a desktop computer?**
A: Yes. The height of shelves are fixed but you can skip the second one from the bottom

**Q: Is it possible to make a hole for cables?**
A: No, we wouldn't suggest that.
