A great lesson in Joy and opening our eyes to the fact that there is always more behind every person if we just take the time to search. You know it was said many times in the book that God did this, God did that, but do you even know what God was being talked about? It said God died for us. Which God? The Almighty God, maker of heaven and earth and all creation, Jehovah also created his only begotten Son, Christ Jesus. Yes they are both Gods, but one is superior, the Father, Jehovah and one is a tad bit lower, Jesus the Son! All other creation was made with the help of Jesus. Now which one died for us? Well Jehovah God sent his only begotten son to the earth, born of the Virgin Mary, Jesus the son, died for all mankind so that we all might have life everlasting here on our beautiful earth. Why? Because they both loved us so much! Jehovah willingly let his son come to earth, to live and die for our sins. Jesus willingly sacrificed his life for all who would listen and repent and obey the words found in the greatest book ever written, the Holy Bible! Listen, obey and continue to follow Jesus teachings given to him through his Father, Jehovah. Is that not a beautiful thing? Yes it is! So please read your Bibles daily with your minds and hearts open to all the wonderful promises to mankind.

This series really surprised me. I didn't think that it would be this good. I got hooked after the first chapter in the 1st book. I was sad to see it end. I loved this series. I hope they make a 2nd series. Or make a book about Lizzys life. I recommend this series to horse lovers. The money was worth it. If you read this take my advice. Hope you love this series to!

My 12 year old ordered each of the Winnie books in the series and read them all. Before these, we could not find any faith based or interesting horse lover books, and these offer both.I would highly recommend these books. I am so happy we found these!Thanks, Dandi!Please keep writing!!!!

I have read all of the books in the series. I am 64 years old now. I found the Winnie books brought me back to my younger days of riding horses. I can no longer ride but still like to read horse stories. I would recommend these books for all ages

Buckskin Bandit, is the 8th and final book in the Winnie the Horse Gentler series. This book is a great conclusion to the series. Though it is a bit saddening that the series is at an end. If Dandi Daley Mackall is reading this, you really need to write another book! :)

Christmas gift

Winnie the horse gentler seems to be a very well written and enjoyable series. The only book that I have read from the series is book 8, Buckskin Bandit. I can see young girls reading and enjoying this book and the series. It is especially good for those girls that love horses and all that they bring with them. The only thing that I would recommend is reading the first 7 books first. I have not had the pleasure of reading the other books and I felt like I missed out on some important character information. I was unable to see how the character was built with book 8. I am sure that is because not having read the first 7 books about Winnie. If you like reading anything to do with animals and their owners or in this case friends, this is a series that I would recommend. It has other animals in it other than horses so it should be of some interest to all. Overall I liked this book and I wanted to see what happened at the end. I wanted to finish the book so that I would know that all is well again. It is a good story and the reading is not hard. To help at the end of the story the author has included horse terminology for those who know nothing about horses. It's fun for all.

Part of a series and my granddaughter loves them. Shows how to work together while dealing with the stresses of life.

Purchased complete set for granddaughter she has not started reading yet so cannot give a review on the story.
