Irredeemably dire and awful
It's irredeemably dire and awful. Everything is wrong, from the script down to the incidental music and the bland performances. After half an hour, I was really struggling to pay attention. Avoid like the plague.

Awesome film
I really, really liked this film. It is about a Hexmeister who takes a young recruit under his wing. It is creepy in places and the ending is pretty spooky and cool!

Dull film with misleading cover!
Set in 1928,this is based on a true story & stars Chad lowe as Billy,a 16yr old who upon meeting the eccentric travelling preacher/healer Dr Reese(played by Donald sutherland)becomes his apprentice.Dr reeses practises are seen as witchery by the god fearing community & they soon find themselves accused of murder.A very slow moving movie with a very misleading cover as this is definitely not a horror, there is nothing scary about this film!
