Siemens/VDO 5WK96132Z Mass Air Flow Sensor

I had issues with my 2006 X5 and replaced the factory MAF with a Delphi unit. A couple weeks later the car began to stall and the transmission would go into trans fail safe mode. After towing it home twice and checking it with a scan tool the values from the MAF were fine. Finally the third time it died I was able to identify the Delphi unit as being faulty.I replaced the Delphi unit with this unit and the X5 has run perfectly for the last 6 weeks. I debated going with the full OEM unit but couldn't justify the extra cost. I am now very happy I saved the money.

I was skeptical ... Unsure and really frustrated. I kept getting push backs from FCP Euro and Bimmer parts canceled my order due to my cars manufacturing specs... Siting that the production date was off or something like that. So .. The Fifties Kid on you-tube recommended this part and even gave a link to find it.So, I have given them a try and they did not disappoint. it doesn't have the Siemens logo it has Continental but ... it was manufactured in Germany and that is good enough for me. All I can say is "SHE LIVES" !!!!

THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A SIEMENS BRAND. THE PUBLICATION DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO THIS BRAND SIEMENS.I HAVE A BMW 330i E46. I INSTALL THIS PART AND IT DID NOT WORK. THE CAR HAS NO STRENGTH WITH THIS PARTDON'T HAVE A BAD TIME, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND BUY ELSEWHERE.

Only buy these OEM mapp sensors for your BMW. I tried the less expensive aftermarket ones a couple times and they both failed within a year. This guy sells the right OEM supplies!

Got the MAF sensor, I could not wait to try it , so I fitted it on my 2001 BMW x5 as soon as it was delivered to me. I drove around this morning and it worked fine, as expected; The gears are shifting more smoothly now, and the power has all come back as well. That's my x5 back to life again!

wasted more money on other products then what this item was worth after first trying a cheaper maf that made the suv run even worse than the out of accuracy original one that turned out to be the real problem after i changed it with this onelesson learned get the quality parti n the first place and save money in the long run

Great price for authentic part. Installed it in less than 5 minutes. I had the fault code reset at a local auto supply and pleasantly the dash light went out and now the transmission shifts flawlessly.I don't know how a faulty mass air flow sensor caused hard shifts but I'm thrilled to have a perfect transmission again!

Direct oem replacement part, works fine. Took one star off because the box had been previously opened and the part most likely used temporarily for diagnosis. I don’t like getting electrical parts that have been opened.
