Solar Military Nylon Strap Men's Watch

The dial seems less attractive to me that I originally thought. If that doesn't bother you, it's good stuff for not much $$.

I was in the market for an inexpensive analog solar watch around the price point of $50. I work at a machining company in an office (engineering) role, so the watch wouldn't be abused, but I didn't want to have a pricier watch get dinged up on equipment or parts. While I like automatics, I also wanted a watch that was a quartz movement so I didn't have to set it frequently. I was considering a couple of the Timex solars, but wasn't a big fan of the appearance (I prefer a clean "military-style" face) or the resin lugs. This watch showed up in the feed, and it seemed to check all the boxes.It's got a very clean appearance with polished metal lugs. The lug spacing is 20mm, so it will accept a good variety of straps; I replaced the strap with a NATO-style. There's nothing wrong with the provided strap however. The watch itself keeps decent time. For the week, it's within a couple of seconds from a reference atomic Casio watch. The choice of putting the minutes in large font takes some getting used to.Downsides? The lume on the hands is weak, to the point of not being there. On this blue dial / white numbers version, under indirect lighting, the solar panel gives a glare that obscures the hands. And overall, I'm slightly concerned about longevity. I couldn't find any information online about this particular model, even on the manufacturer's website. (Granted, the manufacturer seems like a small one.) I guess if it breaks, I'm only out $30-something. At the end of the day, it's a nice-looking inexpensive solar watch... just what I was looking for.

Excellent men's watch. As accurate as my Citizen Ecowatch but a heck of a lot less expensive.

So far very happy with this watch. Super comfortable.

Really good looking watch. So far no issues, been wearing it for a couple of months. Holds accuracy and charge preety well. Will buy it again to give as a present.
