How to Make 100 Paper Flowers: Ideas and Instruction for Folding, Cutting, and Simple Sculptures Paperback – June 1, 2013

Received the book yesterday...it is awesome! I recently have had the pleasure of working with Maria Noble when I ordered some paper flowers from her. She has been amazing to work with and the flowers she made were beautiful. I originally got the book to see what other types of flowers I might want to order, but I think I may try my hand of some myself. The book is very well written and explains everything you need to know. There are step by step instructions as well as photos for each step. There is even a section designed for children to make some pretty awesome flowers. I look forward to doing some of these with my granddaughters. I am really enjoying this book and would recommend it!

Good projects, easy instructions

Good designer of some absolutely stunning flowers. But not the clearest instructions. If you are a beginner, start elsewhere. But if you have a little experience, you will be able to figure it out. For example, I do a lot of quilling, so the quilling section, I already knew the techniques, and so I got some original and great ideas. On the other hand, I am an Origami moron, and the instructions there read like Japanese.Oh, well, the quilling section is recommended, and the crepe paper flowers are wonderful. Just not for absolute beginners.

I was excited to receive this book but was extremely happy when I received it. I love making flowers but this book is going to take my flower making to a new level. The color photos are AMAZING with easy to follow directions. The patterns are super easy to copy and resize if you want to. There are so many different flowers from a variety of materials, including materials I never would have thought to use. The different roses are incredible but there many different flowers. I am so happy that I purchased this book. If you love to make flowers, you should buy this book.

The instructions were not the best. I did not care for most of the flowers or projects that were featured but there were some tips that I could use by modifying the flowers.

Not sure I will use it a lot but will probably get some ideas from it. I usually try to buy used craft books so I don't invest a fortune in how to materials.Update on 3-13-14: I have had a chance to really look over this book since my first review. It is a beautiful book with wonderful pictures and very good instructions. I will look forward to getting into making some of these flowers as soon as possible. I am glad I purchased this book and feel it is certainly worth the price I paid.

Great book. Very clear and easy to understand. I made samples of the flowers that were chosen by the group so they could see what it looked like in person and they could be examine how to glue it together.

It's a good book. A little disappointed, but not very much. I bought the book because I wanted to know how to make the extra large flowers I had seen on the website. I am a bit of a novice, so the extra instructions for theses specific flowers would have been nice. Otherwise, it is a nice book. I am glad I purchased it in the end.
