ElnaElnita ef1 High Speed Sewing and Quilting Machine

I am so pleased with this machine. So much from the very beginning. Bobbin winder works great and I love being able to wind a bobbin without having to stop and rethread. I was able to get the automatic needle threaded to work the second time I teiwd. I've had machines where they've never woeked! The speed and stitches are so nice. This is one of those purchases where you are more satisfied than you thought you'd be. I do not sew leather or make bags so I can't review it for that. Quilting and heavy material is wonderful. Received this machine in good time and good condition.

The media could not be loaded. I have to admit the color is really what caught my eye. This machine type is exactly like the juki TL2010-QBut in my opinion.More heavy duty per se... they are both Just Fast machines not really meant for leather or anything too crazy. This one is faster than the JUKI, The fastest on market in This category.The space to the right of the Needle is a little shorter by 1/2" compared to the juki, which is not a deal breaker..I'm gonna miss the thread cutter in the foot Control on the juki, but at least this one has the thread cutter on the machine.The foot control is quite large compared to most machines of this type. Which Was a nice surprise.The bobbins are a metal L style.. And are the typical size? It would have been nice to have larger bobbins. I do not like how the bobbin cover opens up In two Separate pieces.It's cumbersome, it should all be one piece.Just so you are aware this is.What day what they call a heavy duty mawhich I guess it is compared to the cookie cutter machines at Other stores. They call it a Simi industrial machine. But that's not what they mean... What they mean is that it is "like" a Simi industrial machine in the esthetics.What also sold me is that it has 8 ball bearings which they say Makes the machine run quieter and I would have to agree...I really love it, I love the color and i'm really happy with this purchase

It is very important to know this is a straight stitch only sewing machine! I feel so ripped off. It was never mentioned in the description that it is a straight stitch only machine. I reviewed many machine and landed on this one. I waited a while to try it out and then took me a little longer to realize what I had purchased. The seller refused to take it back and only offered me a discount on another machine. I asked for a trade in and they refused. Unless you are the most basic sewer, forget about this machine.

Wanted a machine that only did Straight stitch and powerful enough to sew through leather. Sews beautiful stitches, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This machine is strong and fast, but you can slow it down if you need to. It makes a beautiful stitch. I love how I can use the knee lift when my hands are holding the fabric, and I can reverse with my elbow without letting go of my project. Large cones of thread feed into the machine without a hitch, and the bobbin winder can use the second spool so I don't have to unthread if I didn't pre-fill enough bobbins. This is a perfect machine for quilters and crafters that need a machine with strong piercing power. (And, like most of the machines in this class, it only does a straight stitch)

So sorry another reviewer did not realise this was a straight stitch only machine, and therefore was very disappointed. One look at the photos, and you will, see there are no buttons or levers to make this do any other kind of stitch.But high speed machines, such as this one, almost always do just one thing. This is for the advanced sewist or quilter, who needs speed and power. Highly recommended.

This is a fabulous machine. The fact that it's straight stitch only doesn't mean it's only for "basic sewers" as stated in a previous review. Rather it's a High Speed machine for quilters, and commonly used as a substitute for industrial machines that are the standard for advanced & professional stitchers.I swore I'd never sew on anything but an industrial machine, but this machine has changed my mind.Wow! I absolutely love it. Strength and precision all the way...
