Scala Women's Boiled Wool Cloche with Rosettes

A couple weeks ago I cut my hair short for the first time since I was 8 years old. I decided to buy a hat to wear around because I’ve discovered how cold my head, ears and neck are without the hair I used to have.Although my pics don’t show it clearly, the grey is true to color as show here on the site, perhaps a touch darker, which is just fine for me. I love the styling—years ago I had a vintage cloche made from firm felted wool, and I love that this is softer than that. It will store well in a drawer on the off season.My jury is out on the floral decoration. This seems a bit heavy for the construction of the hat, but not unworkable. It might be that in coming weeks it naturalized in shape. At this time the hat looks great either way.

This is a very cute hat. I got a compliment on it the very first time I wore it. I ordered the grey so I could wear it with different coats and the color is perfect. It's much cuter than the standard stocking cap but keeps your head warm. It folds easily to slip in your coat pocket so you don't lose it. I really like it.

Love this hat. Very comfortable, stylish, well-made, stays in place, and keeps my head warm (but not too warm) in cold weather. I should note that my skull is on the large side so I like the larger fit of this hat but perhaps someone with a small skull would find it too roomy. I've received many compliments while wearing this hat. The rosette is fairly well-made compared to embellishments I've seen on other, similar hats. Glad I got it.

RalphE's wife here - The overall shape of the hat shipped to me is not symmetrical, as shown in Amazon's pictures. It is lopsided, tilting down where the 'flowers' are and with too much fabric on the other side. I'm not fond of this hat. Perhaps the person who made mine just did not know what they were doing. It certainly is not worth the money.

Great to have a hat that is stylish and not a "cookie cutter" of the stuff from the regular department stores.I tried to buy something like this local but they were charging over double the price I paid for this one-same manufacturer.Highly recommend!

I am always concerned about buying hats because most hats are too big for my head and just fall down to my eyes. This one has some stiffness so it is stays where it should. A great fit. The color not bright as shown more of a dull olive as you see in my pic. I think I will write the seller and ask for an even exchange. Disappointed in the color.

I saw this adorable hat in a shop and decided to buy on Amazon. The color matches a coat I wear. This hat is a very cute style and has some warmth. It fits me very well. I have a small head. I think it might not fit so well on someone with a large cranium.

This is a cute hat. The fabric could be a bit heavier so it was warmer. If it were not for the fact that the 100% boiled wool makes my forehead itch a lot, I would keep it.
