The Fresh Olive Company Cornicabra Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 500 g

Right, firstly I never bother to leave reviews, so the fact that you are reading it is testament that it’s good. This oil is absolutely amazing for the price point. Smooth, well balanced, mellow and well rounded. Not overly peppery, hints of almond I think, and believe it or not, I get delicious delicate banana hints and of course the dominant flavour and the gentle sweetness of quality olives shines through. A superb oil for dressings or to drizzle over pasta dishes. I use it with balsamic vinegar to dip my homemade sourdough bread in, and it is a true taste of Spain. To be honest I wouldn’t moan if it was double the price! If you’re looking for a good quality oil at a very reasonable price, then don’t hesitate to buy it.

Arrived well packaged in bubble wrap. I'm often disappointed with EVG for salad dressings. The oil can be too overwhelming in the dressing but not this one. It has a lovely fruity flavour but at the same time it is light and a very nice colour. Made an excellent dressing, will definitely buy this again, thank you.

Flavour is really good.
