Perfect upgrade or replacement. Fits the factory hole in the bumper. Just snapped right in.
Used this to replace the factory incandescent light on my pickup truck. Easy install. Took about 3 minutes. The old lamp was one wire. This one has two. I just stripped about an inch of insulation off the end of the white wire and wrapped it around one of the prongs that pop into the hole in the bumper, and attached the dark wire to the original wire. Then just pressed the lamp into the bumper hole. It popped right in and fit perfect. It has a very clean, white light which illuminates the license plate well.

Fit is great. snaps firmly into place
Pros:1. can be wired in either direction.2. Fit is great. snaps firmly into place. I have a 1990 F150 Ford Pickup with 2 bumper holes for lights.3. The LED assembly is sealed completely within the plastic lens. Hence the LEDs should not get wet, and that is a good thing when you get 50" of rain a year.4. The back as a rubber boot that interlocks within the back of the hole of the assembly. The wires fit snugly within the boot.5. The Quality appears to be pretty good. Since it is new I have no Idea how the assembly will stand up to years of corrosion, but for the price it is a great deal for complete Assembly with LEDs.Cons:The LEDs can not be replaced, you have to replace the whole assembly. If it last that should not be a problem. If the assembly would actually last 15,000 hours and you averaged 30 miles per hour would would have 450,000 miles on these lights. The vehicle will probably die before the lights fail.

The lights fit my 1969 Ford F-250 bumper hole nice and snug
The lights fit my 1969 Ford F-250 bumper hole nice and snug, which is 1.25". The lights have flexible tabs located circumferentially to hold them in place, except where there is a gap to accommodate the tab in the bumper hole that properly orients the lights and keeps them from rotating. There are two wires, one for voltage and one for ground. I used the white wires to connect to voltage with dielectric grease applied, and crimped a ring terminal on the brown wires for grounding to my license plate bolts. The light emitted is a typical LED pure white, and is not too bright in my opinion. The quality is acceptable and the lights are not flimsy.

Great modern replacement
My truck had some aftermarket bumper that's been on there for ages and it used these little round universal "trailer" style lights. They used to be really dim, then they just went out. I have no idea for how long because I didn't know there were out until um.. someone.. told me. Anyway these lights are pretty bright and fit the spot nicely. I had to add some ground wiring as the original lights used the base as a ground and these have a ground wire

Works great!
This is the second truck I have used these on. Both gen 2 Dodge Ram 1500s. These lights work great and fill the place of the old ones in the stock bumper. They are easy to install with a bit of electrical knowledge. Would recommend.
