60G Balm

I've been using this product since 2021, and I would not change even the scent. It works well, it is of course natural, and the scent is not so strong. It lasts for a long time. It does change consistency in hot weather, but that does not affect the quality. Once it came with some lumps, but still, it did the job. It lasts long enough for the price. It is good for health and for the planet. I'd never change it for anything else.

My son tells me wherever I am there’s a stink of sweat, especially if we’re away on a walking or cycling trip. Fortunately this product means that in more socially involved situations the stink just doesn’t happen. I can comfortably get through a day of hard work and even in summer I might be able to wear the same T shirt two days on the trot. It’s of a consistency that’s easy to apply even in the low temperatures in my house. I’ve had similar products that needed a chisel to get out of the jar on a chilly morning It lasts a decent length of time. And there’s no plastic involved. A very good product!

Pleasant scent and doesn't burn like many creams. Still smelt good before shower the next day. Only complaint is the amount is small and I don't think will last more than 2 or 3 months. But will have to see

I have been using The Natural Deodorant Company's deodorant balms for just over two years and I love them; they're the most effective odour prevention deodorants I have ever used, never irritate my skin and feel so smooth that application is a breeze. However, I am not the best at ordering in advance of time so if I'm.close to running out I will purchase a similar item that has next day delivery. That was what happened with this deodorant and unfortunately, like all the other different natural deodorant brands I have tried, it compares miserably with the NDC. This has a beautiful fragrance, I like that ot is plastic free packaging and it's being natural, cruelty free and vegan are stipulations on which I won't waver. But the texture is so grainy, there are lumps of what I presume to be sodium bicarbonate, so application is unpleasant and underarm skin is delicate, I don't think rubbing hard little deposits of baking soda into them is the treat of the day. I could overlook this if it was effective, but sadly, it was not. There was an undeniable whiff of body odour before my day was over. Everybody is different, so what doesn't work for me, may well work for you, and vice versa. But I'm sorry to report that this is a miss for me. I will use it on days when I'm just staying home, but have already placed my order for the natural deodorant company clean deodorant.

This is the best deodorant balm. No nasty ingredients. Not too drying. Eliminates odours. No white marks. Very easy to use. Smells like nothing as well, i imagine if one used it on smelly armpits then there would be a smell, but that's not how deodorant is supposed to be used, you're supposed to use it on clean armpits. My 5-star review is based on the unscented one only. The lavender and vanilla one is very strong-smelling, it doesn't smell bad imo, but it's so strong i only use it for emergencies, it works on not-washed kinda smelly armpits. I never just use a garden pea-sized amount either, i always use 1 to 2 plump marrowfat pea-sized amounts. Sometimes it's grainy, sometimes it's smooth, when it's grainy i sit the jar in hot water for 20mins or so, make sure the water stays hot. I've used loads of different deodorants before and this one is the best, i don't understand the bad reviews. I mean i don't know what people expect, this is not an anti-perspirant it's a deodorant, it's not meant to stop sweat, it's meant to stop smell, and it does work that way, we're adults and always need to use more than a garden pea-sized amount as well. One thing that's unique about this deodorant is it doesn't make your armpits sticky after you work-out wearing it, most others do. But, keep in mind i am using the unscented one, so it has no essential oils or anything like that in there, so maybe because of that it works better, breaks apart less whilst wearing it, and doesn't get sticky. Don't let the bad reviews sway you, give it a try, just remember to use more than a garden pea-sized amount, use on clean armpits(no body odour smell present), and try the fragrance-free one first, if it's grainy sit it in a bowl with kettle-hot water just under the lid, unscrew the lid and gently sit it on top, for 20mins, replace the water if it gets even warm, has to stay hot, fixes it right away, smooth like butter, lol.

Over the years I've typically use most roll-ons, buying whatever is reduced to a pound. Sure, Lynx, Nivea etc... I'd even recently spent more and switched to Bulldog which I preferred. But none _really_ worked that well. They'd last a day if lucky, and gum up my shirts. Figured I'd try this, the unscented version. Goes on really easy as a balm and I prefer that way of applying. Nice glass jar too, recyclable. And... it works great. It lasts a whole day, even two if I'm feeling lazy. I was a bit sceptical of the product but now that I've used it I'm hugely impressed. It's a deodorant so I shouldn't get that excited but it's a seriously good product.

The deodorant arrived in the Amazon cardboard packaging and nothing else. At first glance I was happy to see the lack of plastic; but upon taking the deodorant out, I noticed that the lid of the deodorant wasn't properly screwed on and therefore not hygienic. I appreciate that this product uses as little packaging as possible, but it was to the point where it was just not hygienic as I've said. But I didn't want to return it for it to just be thrown out, so I thought I'd give it a go. I bought this zero waste deodorant thinking it would at least smell nice and somewhat vanilla-y, as it is stated as being lavender and vanilla scented, but It didn't. It smells like an odd, jarring blend of essential oils. When applying the paste, it is very gritty and crumbles to the ground. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be this texture? As for deodorising, it does absolutely nothing. Halfway into the day, my t-shirt smells like sweat. I even wonder if the deodorant 'goes off' under my arms, making me smell worse than I would compared to if I had not used any deodorant at all? So, over all, I would not recommend this deodorant at all.
