I've been using the Rockeville 15" Speaker System since May of 2018, and it's been a reliable companion through scorching summers, delivering impressive performance at every event. Gotta add to the 5 star reviews here, not just for the product, but the seller as well. Took me about a week to get the speakers, but it was initially bad news: they were defective. Sound would come out for about 5 minutes, then boom, all the sound just.. Gone. No pops, no anything, just a dead cutoff, and I wasn't even pushing them hard. Having read multiple reviews on these speaks, I had to figure, I got a bad egg. Amazon got in touch with audiosavings for me, who then contacted me, and were eager to make the situation right. I had an email telling me they got the speakers on Monday, today is Thursday, and they're already here. Been running them for about an hour, playing some prog rock thru them via Bluetooth as I write this review. I can't think of cons for these speakers, they sound.. Perfect. For the price point, the size, everything, I tried comparing them to a Peavy set here on amazon and found they had super weak bass; no chance of you getting by without a sub. These guys can stand on their own, and while you could certainly augment them with a sub, I genuinely do not see the need. Maybe if you're in a really big auditorium, but as it is, I'm sitting in the basement, solid concrete floor, and I can still feel the bump, volume not even maxed. 5/5 for both product and seller.

Will update with results First of all and most importantly, these stands for these speakers do NOT come in the box. The very first step in the instruction manual is to put the speakers onto the stands. The box has a picture of the speakers on stands. The product description says that the speakers come with stands! However they come in a SEPARATE SHIPMENT which for me came 2 days after the first. I contacted the seller and was replied to within a day, confirming that the stands were being shipped separately. As for the speakers themselves, they have decent sound. For best sound results, actually take your time and adjust the settings on the back - turn down the "main" knob pretty low and turn up the "line in" knob pretty high to keep the clarity up without the sound getting too muddy, etc. The bluetooth seems to have a good range and is easy to connect. The EQ settings button is pretty much useless, since there are no discernible sound differences and also the display doesnt show you what eq setting you are on. The microphone, although cheap as others have noted, works well and doesnt give feedback, even right next to the speakers themselves, which is great! Stands seem to be generic and not speaker specific. The stand's mounting rod is slightly too small for the speaker mounting hole, so even when tightened on the speaker is a little wobbly on the stand. The stand itself is not wobbly, but will slowly slide down if not tightened all the way.

Sounds great very loud great for outdoor parties

Bought these in 2016 to use for an outdoor event we have each year, where people run in a park for 8 hours. Amazing sound quality and worked flawlessly until this year, when the fuse blew. We put in the spare fuse and that blew as well. I'm going to reorder a new set of speakers to use for next year. Possibly going to also consider a different power setup. Amazing quality and value.

I read the reviews and took a chance on these speakers, even though there are many reports of complete failure. YOU SHOULD NOT BOTHER. The speakers were very good out of the box, loud, seemed solid and a good deal for the price. We used them twice to play music at a small outdoor event under a pavilion, at a very low percentage of max volume. On the third occasion the speakers would not turn on. The fuse below the AC port was blown, and the spare fuse blew immediately. We tried additional fuses to confirm that there was a short in the built-in amp. If we had not tried to use them again as soon as we did, we would have run past the warranty. If you decide to buy these I recommend burning them in with an overnight or longer playback session. These seem to fail at a very high rate, based on the reviews, and you want that to happen in the first 30 days. These are a real hassle to mail back at 77 pounds. KEEP ALL OF THE PACKING MATERIAL, INSTRUCTIONS, EVERYTHING. Some day these could be a good value speaker, but the manufacturer needs to figure out this issue. It should not be on your dime.

I purchased (2) 12" Alphasonic speakers very similar to these Rockville speakers. Both have a master with built in app and a slave. I purchased them so that we could host community events. After a year, one of the Alphasonic speakers blew, leaving me to purchase a replacement. I contemplated ordering the same, but was hesitant due to the rather quick failure. I researched all different types of speakers and landed on trying the Rockville 15" speakers. I'm glad I did. Received them, unpacked them and I am pleasantly surprised at how clean the sound is. Even via BT. The Alphasonic had a background hum to it. These do not. They are very quiet and very clean sound. The bass is not as deep as I would like, but I do have a separate subwoofer, so this is not an issue for me. I cannot comment on the microphone or the remote. I tossed it in the trash. I have a complete mixer and wireless microphone system, not interested in using the cheap microphone provided. However, as I type this review, I am listening to music and am super impressed at how clean the sound is. The highs and mids are very impressive. Considering ordering another set of these speakers to completely replace the two sets of Alphasonic speakers. Longevity of these speakers are still in question, but it appears these speakers are of higher quality overall.

I purchased these speakers for outdoor movie nights at a farm setting. The first night they were great!! The second time I used them the speaker to speaker wire stopped working for the second speaker to work. I immediately contacted the warranty that we purchased additionally. They told me to contact the seller so I did. The seller wanted photos of the wire to ensure no damage. So I did. Then they requested photos of the wire cut into pieces before they send another wire. I have another event coming up and that makes me very nervous. This is the hardest time I’ve had trying to get a defective product replaced. And it’s only the wire!
