Premium Glitz Soft Crushed Velvet Fabric Material Curtains Cushion Dressmaking Upholstery 140cm Wide with Backing - Half Metre 50cm x 140cm Red

I bought this fabric in two shades, to make a teddy with, and while I was a little apprehensive when the fabric first arrived, I was not disappointed.It is much shinier and silvery than I expected it to be. But it's soft, a lovely colour, and it's tough, too. It's not drapey enough for clothes, in my opinion, but it's lovely for making teddies out of (just check whether it's child-safe and fire resistant if you're making teds as toys), I think it would work well for curtains or upholstery, and it's good value for money too. It was easy to manouvre (I can't spell that!) and stitch--it didn't slip out of line like lots of shiny fabrics do as you sew--and it held its shape very nicely when I stuffed it. I am very pleased with it, and my son, who I made the item for, is very fond of his new ted.

Really good quality for the price. Easy to handle, and love the turnout of my ottoman, which before was a horrible brown colour and had really worn out leather.

More silver than I thought returned and reordered the champagne instead to cover pelmets

Ordered "Teal", the colour that came was not teal. There was hardly any hint of green, it was more of a steel/carolina based on the image I've uploaded. Good quality though so will keep for another project.

I love this fabric and the colour, I had chosen Ivory,it's the same width of my double bed and I can't wait to use this material. I will order again but try a different colours to go around my home next time, but right now I am testing this colour fabric out and to see how it goes. Which I can't wait. I'm sure it's going to look lovely.

Ich kenne so ein Stoff in dehnbar, war leider nicht der Fall aber behalte ich trotzdem weil die Farbe sehr schön ist.
