Worked straight out of the box
As promised, this kit worked straight out of the box with no configuration needed . Getting average speeds of about 250Mbps from Gigabit ethernet on PC via Gigabit router to Gigabit Network Attached Storage (NAS). Some people may find it distracting if their power sockets are in plain view not tucked under a desk etc, but I really like the relatively large LED indicators that confirm connection. Passthrough power socket is a great feature. I'm not using the included Ethernet cables - it was nice to have 2 included, but they were grey, which looks a bit ugly when connected to these white units. One of the cheapest PowerLine kits I found on Amazon at the current time too, so overall very good value for money IMHO.

Wouldn’t recommend
Worked out of the box, although it took a while to sync compared to TP Links products.Powerline speeds were maxing out at 150mbps even though I have a Gigabit line, this was when connected to the socket right next to it.Once I had cloned the wifi, the wifi functionality just stopped working. I was always connected to my router and signals were not being transmitted.Only 2* because it actually worked, but no where near as expected. My netgear powerline kit works at 800mbps and this maxes at 150?Also - design is awful. The wifi transmitter is clunky and oversized for a 2-socket slot.

Why didn't I get these years ago?
I live in a relatively modern house (2001) and I'm using these to provide wired connection from my router/NAS Media servers (one side of the house) to my TV/Sky Box (the other side of the house)I'm getting gigabit lan speeds, and no longer experience dropouts or buffering when using my plex server.Would I recommend? Yes, these are effectively a fraction of the price than some of the bigger brands, but work perfectly. I've been able to repurpose an old modem router into a wireless extender as the connection is that good.Of course, these devices are only as good as the wiring in your house, but it can't hurt to try?

Reliability Issue
This did the job, but only for a few days.

Oh so simple no fuss wi-fi set up
Bought to replace my poorly performing broadband wi-fi extender, this piece of kit really impressed. From opening box to watching video in my summer house, it was oh so simple and took only about 5 minutes. Now have full strength wi-fi broadband at bottom of garden. Definitely a plug and play piece of kit!!

Wifi worked but not the powerline feature.
So after setting up the wifi the powerline would not connect. Both sockets were on the same loop and after searching for work arounds, resetting, attempting to sync them up I had to give up and send it back. The wifi worked but I needed a cable for the device I was using. The second unit is also very large. It wasn't an issue for me but might be to someone who needs to plug in next to it.

Easy to set up and work perfectly
When I first saw this listing I was a bit wary as the product photo (1200 AV2) showed a non-UK plug and the price was much lower than another listing of the same product on Amazon. After reading the other reviews though I decided to go for it.I am pleased to say that the product that arrived was indeed the UK plug version and was a brand new set. This has complimented the existing powerline adaptors that I use (also TRENDnet) and set up was as easy as plugging them in and letting them auto-connect which happened within a few seconds. I would highly recommend these as I have been using TRENDnet adaptors for years and they have proven to be very reliable.

Can't get device to power on
I purchased one copy and the power light would not come on for the plug that connects directly with the router. Assume it was faulty and have arranged a return, and in the interim have ordered a new one.I am having the exact same problem with this - the wifi extender plug will power on but the other plug does not come on at all. Will be retuning and looking at alternatives.
