Excellent wand. Great value for money. A UVC wand that simply works
The two most important aspects of a UVC light germicidal device are:- the wavelength emitted,- the power of the light emitted. This device simply works, based on my scientific measurements of my own independently acquired UVC Solarmeter device.First, the product:UVC Sterilizing WandModel: XD-6018SManufacturer: Shenzhen Chuang Jin Heng Electronic Technology Co, LTDSpecs:Casing: Aluminum alloyProduct Size: 25.4 cm x 3 cm x 3 cm (around 10 inches by 1 inch by 1 inch)Weight: 170 g (7 ounces)Light Source: UVC at 254 nm, produced by Mercury Quarz bulbPower: 5 WInput: 5 volt, 1 amperBattery capacity: 2000 milliAmper / Hour (i.e., will last around 2-3 hours at 5V)It comes in a nice carton package, with the Wand, one short USB-C cable, one UVC Tester Card, and One Manual.I evaluated two things:- the UVC Tester card,- the Wand.I inserted the UVC Tester card into my existing UV Santizer oven, which emits around 300 microWatt/cm^2 under the light. After 15 seconds of exposure, card turned somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd color. So, test card thinks I have around 150 microWatt/cm^2. I think card is a bit under-calibrated.Next, I tested the Wand using my own Solarmeter Model 8.0 UVC meter, calibrated to 245-265 nm.The Wand emits around 150-300 microWatt/cm^2, depending on angle and distance. It is quite easy to hold it in a way so that it emits steady 200 microWatt/cm^2.Now, having measured that, let's evaluate how long it would take to sanitize a phone for Corona.Corona requires 3.5-5.0 milliJoule/cm^2. That is 3500-5000 microJoule/cm^2.How do we convert from microWatt to microJoule? Easy! Need time. One second of exposure converts one microWatt to one microJoule (Joule = Watt * Seconds). In order to get 3500 microJoule out of 200 microWatt, we need 3500 / 200 = 17 seconds of exposure. To be sure, we can do for 30 seconds, which will gives us around 6000 microJoule, which is more than enough to kill Corona. To kill the flu, you need around 5 times more. Say, 150 seconds, or 2.5 minutes. For bacteria, you need longer.I think this is excellent characteristics for a hand-held, light-weight, portable, charge-able, sturdy UVC wand, based on Mercury Quarz bulb.I am quite impressed!Other considerations:- usage,- efficience / efficacy,- safety,- longevity. In terms of usage, I would not worry about santizing surfaces or phones. You can use alcohol (70%) or Alkyl (benzalkonium chloride) for that. You need this wand for surfaces where you can not use alcohol or Alkyl. E.g., we have these N95, N99, and N100 respirators that we travel with. Outside of our home, we don't have access to a UVC sanitizing box / over. Carrying a 10 pound oven with measurements of 15 inch by 8 inch by 12 inch is not practical. Instead, we can carry this nifty little wand!I highly recommend this device.

Portable and convenient
I have recently become much more aware of the need to sanitize items. This wand is great for helping to do that. It is small and portable making it easy to take to doorknobs and light switches as well as fit into a backpack, diaper bag or purse. It charges very quickly and holds the charge for a long time. It runs off a timer so you don’t accidentally leave it on. As a teacher, I’ll be ordering another of these to keep in my classroom.

Produced almost no UV light based on the included test card.
The seller included a UV test card, which I’m glad they did because it shows me how little UV light this wand puts out. At first, I held the want 3-5” above the test card based on recommendations, the card didn’t change color at all. So then I just laid the wand right on the card and left it there for about a minute. When I picked up the wand, there was a thin purple strip on the test card at about the color of weak UV based on the chart on the card. So I packed it up and shipped it back. I hope others don’t think this thing is actually killing any germs. I’d rather just set something in the sunlight for a few minutes.

NO LIGHT AT ALL, ONLY 5 MINUTES SELECTION, NO WHITE BAG/ Defective Product
I got my order today. I charged it bcuz it was on 73% of battery. As when it was fully charge to 100%, when I press the button, it only display 5 or 5minutes, there is NO 10 nor 15 minutes, JUST 5 minutes selection only. BUT the mostly DISAPPOINTING about this product is that when it was 100% fully charged, IT DOES NOT TURN ON, NO LIGHT AT ALL!!!!!. IT is different than what is advertise and no white bag that comes with it. I want my money back 100% on this defective product. I would not put any stars for rating since it is a disappointing product.

So far so good
Purchased this due to the Coronavirus. The price is great and it is exactly as pictured. I have been using this to sanitize packages that I receive, as well as toothbrush heads and other things that are otherwise difficult to sterilize. I have no way of verifying the science behind it, however I am happy with my purchase, it seems to work

It is effective and make you feel secure!
The design is modern and in style. It is easy to use. I use it to scan my key board, mouse, screen, bed, the received letters from the mail box, the package from Amazon, ... etc. After scan, you can smell it like the strong sunlight. It is rechargable and very convenient!

NO
It's a waste of money. There is no certainty that you do not hold a regular lantern. It barely glows and how miraculously germs are destroyed is not clear
