Yes it can be used on any flat surface pool or swim spa, it does not have casters on it so no worries about damage, but if still concerned you could always put a simpler ladder mat for a pool underneath it. Best Regards, Hot Tub Source

Q: How hard is it take out of the pool?

It has wheels so I just roll it up the steps so for us it is pretty simple. I don't know how difficult it would be if the pool doesn't have steps. The water does most of the work.
