PRODYNE ICED Platter IC-10

I was skeptical how this would work for 8" cheesecakes at an open house party, but purchased two. They were terrific - classy, easy to add ice on the bottom and replenish cheesecakes on the top. Received many compliments. My hospitality group wanted to know how to get them.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this. Yes, it is on the small side as some posters have mentioned but I was hoping to use it for shrimp and cocktail sauce and it worked great. I got a lot of shrimp on it along with a ramekin of sauce in the middle. Plus the ice kept it cold so the platter worked for me. I also like the fact that the bowl is divided into 3 sections and can be used on its own. I got this on sale and I'm very happy about the product for the price I paid.

This worked well but I only gave it 4 stars because the top tray was very shallow and I would like it to be deeper to hold more.

You can fill the divided bottom with ice then put the silver tray on top to hold dips and terrines, cheeses, meats. Great for buffet. I also got the one with the dome and plastic tray (instead of the silver tray) and am very happy I can mix and match components depending on the need. The divided base can be used with ice for chilling or used to separate out veggies or crackers. Great product. I would hand wash these as acrylics dont handle dishwashers, the heat tends to crack them.

Large enough to fill with cheese crackers, shrimp you name it. It does not look cheap, seems of good quality.

Bought two sets of these as part of a small buffet table. Placed ice in the plastic bottom tray and sushi on the silver tray.. looked great and kept the food cool for a couple of hours.. it is on the smaller side, which is fine entertaining in an apt.. that’s why I got two sets.

Nice quality, I use it to keep shrimp or cheese slices cold and fresh.

Liked the overall design, however once the ice melts you will need to be careful with spillage. Did not use, returned for refund.
